wow! - Edit

I can't believe I haven't been to this place before when I've visited Atlanta but what a great surprise! First of all it's a nice upscale restaurant as opposed to a lot of the sit down diner style vegan restaurants that are around. Great staff and I tried four different items that were all equally delicious. The chef definitely knows what she is doing. Can't say enough good things other than I will definitely be back!

Pros: Gorgeous restaurant, free parking in garage behind, great menu, food is delicious

Cons: none

it was okay - Edit

You don't get much for the price, but it's pretty delicious! This place is really fancy and isn't accessible at price points for lower income individuals. Veganism should be accessible to everyone! Not just people that have a lot of money!

Pros: good flavor, vegan! (duh)

Cons: value sucks, TONS of soy in their food

excellent brunch - Edit

Excellent vegan brunch on sunday. we loved all of the options and the service was great. The green beans and soy beef was great as were the truffles. Brunch is $25/person which is not cheap; still highly recommend.

Pros: all vegan, lots of options

Amazing dishes and service - Edit

Was not expecting to find a vegan restaurant like this in Atlanta. Was expecting a small cafe, but found a very nice restaurant. Felt very underdressed in my jeans and hoodie, and prices were just a tiny bit expensive, but the service, dinner, and dessert (omg) make it a must try.

tasty food ! - Edit

I've been here twice now and it's good and pretty authentic, don't get me wrong, but it's definitely not low-calorie vegan. Everything is rich and covered in sauce that is unbelievably tasty, just not as healthy (if that makes any sense). Definitely go!! Just know it's gonna set you back for your daily intake

Great food - Edit

I've been to Herban Fix a few times since it has opened. I really enjoy the food. The Pom Pom mushroom steak is my favorite dish.

The service isn't bad- it's just sort of inexperienced.

The owner/chef has been there every time I've eaten there.

Easy to get to from the downtown connector. I drive from OTP to get here and you get off at North Ave and hop back on at Linden. Free self parking.

Pros: Great foot, easy to get to, free parking

Cons: no opentable / online reservations

Fantastic! - Edit

Wow! This was our first visit, but it won't be our last! Excellent service with a knowledgable waiter, the absolute best food I have ever had, and a great atmosphere. Every single thing on the extensive menu is vegan, including the wine. It was so good!

Pros: Great service and waiter, Incredible food with many choices to choose from, Wonderful atmosphere

Cons: Atlanta traffic (but worth it)

The vegan brunch buffet I've wanted my entire life - Edit

I went here for the brunch, and unfortunately, I was pretty hungover, so I tapped out before dessert, which could be the biggest regret of my life. As an American-born half-Chinese person, this is the kind of Asian fusion that I really enjoy. There's ingredients like wood ears and lily flowers one plate away from a mock tuna sandwich. I just wish I lived closer.

Pros: Best brunch of my life, Everything I could ask for , Seriously

Cons: what's a con?

Herban fix - Edit

Not open on Thanksgiving! Those are regular hours posted.
Seriously one of the best vegan restaurants I've ever been to. It's a pleasure to take people here who have never tried a plant-based meal, chef Chang really knocks it out of the park every time. She flavors everything beautifully

Pros: Food, Presentation, Beauty/atmosphere

Cons: Location/ unless you're nearby, Price, I wish it was around the corner from my house

Best food of my life - Edit

My boyfriend took me here for lunch on a weekday at the recommendation of my friends in the Vegan Atlanta Facebook group and we both fell in love! We ordered the pom pom and the fried eggplant and when I bit into that eggplant I swear to you I almost started crying. Easily the best thing I've ever tasted. The pom pom was good, but a little too much like meat for me, which I guess I've been vegan long enough that I should have been able to predict that. The flavor was wonderful though and had the texture not been too realistic for me I would've happily continued eating it. I'm a vegan but my boyfriend is an omni and, while he loved the food, he was sold on the place before we were even served what we ordered. The staff is very kind and the atmosphere is very calming, from how it's decorated to the kind of music they play. He loves some smooth jazz lol.

Pros: Great value, Great service, Free parking

Cons: Literally nothing

Amazing Vegan Food - Edit

We loved Herban Fix! We chose to go on a Saturday night, and we just walked from our hotel, since it's so centrally located. The food was amazing, and the portions were just right. We chose three appetizers and split them, and each had two juices. The dessert, which they get from Southern Sweets Bakery (like Cafe Sunflower does) was incredible, as always. The strawberry cake is a must! Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back! Also, the staff was very friendly and kind. The waiter even offered suggestions for things to do while we were in Atlanta!

Pros: Big Portions, Beautiful Plating, Great Service

Cons: Very Pricey

Impecable in every way! - Edit

This restaurant is amazing!! Gourmet Vegan food is the best food I have ever had. The decor is impecable, my waiter was extremely knowledgeable and I just could not be happier with this place. They even have free parking in a garage on Linden Ave. I had the eggplant and the flavor of the sauce was heavenly. It was a perfect blend of tangy, sweet and spicy. The raspberry chocolate mouse for dessert was to die for!!! Get to this place as soon as you can!!

Cons: NONE!

Delicious - Edit

I was looking for a vegan restaurant close enough to downtown during a short weekend stay in Atlanta, and Herban Fix served me delicious food that far surpassed what I was looking for. I also enquired about the buffet weekend brunch and decided to come back two days later. It is a must if you are in town and are looking for a great vegan meal! Great staff and elegant venue.

Great and Unique Vegan Food - Edit

Amazing place with very pleasant atmosphere. A full wine selection, with all wines being vegan (no need to sift through Apps and websites). A lot of gluten free items on the menu as well. All in all, highly recommended for a classy, pleasant and fully vegan dinner.

Place to take your girlfriend! - Edit

I was in a nearby hotel looking for a vegan place to eat and found this nice establishment. I won't repeat what has already been said, I agree with all the positive reactions below. Just want to add that they kept the kitchen open after I had finished my meal to make me some take-away. Great service and knowledgeable staff!

Pros: Nice classy atmosphere, friendly knowledgeable staff, big selection of delicious dishes

Delicious Brunch but Pricey - Edit

Amazing ALL vegan buffet brunch on Sundays! It's $25 per person but totally worth the splurge for items like soy tuna sandwiches and soy shrimp with asparagus!

Pros: Amazing Variety , Delicious vegan food, great atmosphere

Cons: little pricey for every day meals

Diverse Menu - Edit

Pleased to learn of another vegan restaurant in Atlanta. Ordering take-out, I have tried at least 7 different items on menu and the lemongrass consommé with dumplings', bibimbap and pad thai remain my favorites. As I try to maintain a low fat diet, I did learn to d
ask that my meals be prepared with less oil.

Today I had the opportunity to actual eat in the lovely restaurant and partake of the Sunday Brunch. I was pleased to see the diverse items offered went well beyond your standard Asia rice or noodle dishes. I was disappointed with the amount of oil used in the preparation of food items and the amount of fried food selections. I did not sample any mushroom buffet selections, but I sampled almost everythin else/o I could do an adequate review.

Pros: Menu, serving size, Sunday brunch

Cons: amount of oil use

Horrible service - Edit

I would like to echo all of the great reviews here but did not even get to order food or receive a glass of complimentary water. My guess is that this is a family-owned and operated business. The young hostess was very nice. But my waitress (older Asian woman) never took my drink or food order. By the time the hostess figured out that many others had been serviced before me, she apologetically took my drink order. Then, I sat for another 30 minutes while watching my waitress look me directly in the eyes and continue to bypass me. The hostess asked again had she taken my order and offered to take it. When my waitress saw this, she came over to the table with an attitude as if I should have been more patient with her (an hour!?). But it was the hostess who recognized the "oversight"!? By this time, I was offended and opted to leave... The hostess looked frustrated with her co-worker. I do not want to make any assumptions, but I was the only brown person in the restaurant.

Superb! - Edit

I'm so happy that I made it here! This is a perfect date-night spot. The interior is decorated beautifully. There was free parking in the covered garage located on the side of the building. I had the soy fish for an entree and the mousse cake for dessert. The food not only tasted amazing but the presentation allowed you to enjoy the meal before your first bite. I was full after my entree, but it was so good that I couldn't forego eating dessert. If you have the opportunity, TRY THIS SPOT.

Pros: tasty food, nice decor, variety for all courses

Wish I could have gone back! - Edit

I was in Atlanta for almost a whole week on business and was only able to go once. I had the Pom Pom mushroom and it was delicious. The food presentation was fantastic. The staff was courteous and helpful. The decor was elegant and tasteful. I enjoyed my experience thoroughly. I can't wait to go back and try more the next time I'm in town!

Pros: delicious food, friendly staff

Cons: a little pricy

Vegan Dining at its Best - Edit

We went for lunch and had delicious food, very attentively served by our knowledgeable waitress. The restaurant is more spacious and elegant than most area vegan/vegetarian restaurants. Everything we ate was wonderful and beautifully arranged. This was a "birthday lunch" and the chocolate mousse cake was a hit. We will definitely be back!

Pros: variety of menu items, knowledgeable wait staff, DELICIOUS food, beautifully arranged

Cons: portion size could be larger

possibly the best vegan meal I've ever had - Edit

I cannot say enough how fantastic this place was. I started with the spicy tofu/mushroom soup - perfect. Great flavor, the tofu was the perfect textured it had a ton of mushrooms (3 or 4 varieties). Just when I thought it couldn't get better, they brought out the steamed buns with crispy (soy) duck. Perfect flavors, amazing combination of slightly sweet bun with robust "duck" and refreshing cilantro, salty peanut. Unreal. Entree was crispy king oyster mushroom with sesame soy au jus. Crispy, slightly sweet sauce cut but the spinach and again absolutely perfect with a small side of brown rice. I would strongly recommend this place to anybody anywhere close to the area. I was blown away. Service was also exceptional and the ambiance was more up scale than I expected. A plus all around!

Pros: amazing food, lots of options/variety, desserts

Great Lunch - Edit

I've been waiting for this place to open since last summer and finally made it in for lunch today. Food was very good and I thought prices were reasonable for the "fine-dining" experience. Not sure if they have a different menu/prices for dinner. Definitely a great addition to Atlanta vegan/veg scene!

Tasty food! Lovely ambience! - Edit

I went here with a group for brunch and had a great time. Food was delicious and varied. My only complaint was that there weren't many traditional brunch items on the menu. I'm looking forward to going back!

Pros: location, ambience, food

Exceptional vegan cuisine! - Edit

This newly established restaurant will surely become an Atlanta institution, and not just for vegans. There is an extensive and varied menu, all elegantly presented. Staff are highly attentive, well informed and full of advice. The setting is smart but relaxed. And the food - absolutely delicious. I wish this could be my local!

What Atlanta needed most! - Edit

Herban Fix is hands down my new favorite restaurant. First off, the menu is diverse and expansive. I wanted to order everything, but due to finances and lack of stomach space, that was sadly not an option. So I will keep coming back until I've tried all of it. And then I'll return to eat it all again. And again. Second, every dish we ordered was delicious. The chefs are very talented with a wide variety of mushrooms, which many of the dishes offer. My parents are neither vegan nor vegetarian, and they said the fact that none of the food included animal products didn't matter one bit - it was all sensational without meat, dairy, and eggs, and they didn't miss those things at all. Third, the people who work there cannot possibly be friendlier or more welcoming. It is a fantastic place and I highly recommend it!

Midtown Vegan Surprise - Edit

We tried this new vegan restaurant off Peachtree St NE for dinner. Service was great. Didn't love the space but food was delish. We tried the lemongrass consommé and coconut soups, scallion pancake, creamy curry and curried noodles. All were keepers sans the noodles. Ended the meal with carrot cake. Random but satisfying. Will definitely return!

Just OK food for a high price - Edit

--cross posting my review from yelp--

I mean, I guess it's fine. I went with a friend for lunch. We started out with the spring rolls ($6 for 2), they were tasty, hot, and fresh. Then my friend had the recommended mushroom steak which was a reasonable portion and was pretty good, I had the bi bimbap bowl which, while served in a blistering hot stone bowl and filled with whole grain rice, was lacking in flavor and was some rice with broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, and nori in a bowl. We split a piece of Southern Sweets Carrot Cake for dessert, the slice is half of what you'd get at Southern Sweets or Cafe Sunflower or any of the other places that serve their desserts, and it was $8. The food is good, you're really just paying out the nose for the location and fancy digs. I probably won't go back, but it's a fancy date-place, I guess.

Pros: Fancy Atmosphere, Deserts from Southern Sweets

Cons: Expensive, Small Portions

I didn't expect this place to have such a lovely interior. The staff was accommodating. The food was delicious. There is such an extensive menu. I can't wait to go back! There is also free parking.

Pros: food, staff, decor

One of Atlanta's Finest Restaurants (that happens to be vegan) - Edit

Intriguing menu, spectacular food, great ambiance and friendly staff. Non-vegans and vegans will love the food - not because it's vegan, but because it's just plain delicious. This was probably one of the best meals I've had.
