Lovely little place, loads of space in there with clearly labelled vegan and veggie dishes. All the cakes on the day were vegan which was great. I was surprised there was even somewhere like this in Llandrindod to be honest so was very pleased. The vegan meatball sub was tasty and very filling. Wish I was in mid Wales more often!

We visited here without great expectations. There were a few clearly labelled vegan options on the menu including an English Breakfast and Chili. When about to order I noticed the Specials board which had a Vegan Meatball sub on it. This was delicious and came with salad and crisps. It would be a great addition to the menu. We also had the Chili which came with chips rather than rice which a bit strange, however it was nice and a good portion size.

Cross contamination issues - Edit
For some reason I thought this was a vegetarian place so I thought the options would be much better than they were. I'm not really a burger person but went with that as I couldn't see anything else I fancied. When I picked the burger up some cheese fell off it which I thought was weird as there was no cheese on the burger. On closer inspection I saw that there was grated cheese squashed underneath the burger bun. As if it was put on a dirty chopping board or something. This is really disappointing as I'm not just vegan I'm lactose intolerant and this can make me poorly for a good three days. The cakes where half labelled and half not making it look like theres not much available when there was a few suitable. Probably won't bother again.

Lovely lunch - Edit
Had a lovely lunch in this community cafe, which was very busy and clearly very popular. My husband had a vegan toastie and I had veggie jacket potato with cauli cheese with a really good side salad. Both very tasty and good value for money.

This was run by a vegan lady but is now run by a community effort, that has maintained her standards but the selection is now very limited, however they hope to offer more when the changeover is complete

Given that the number of vegans using the cafe on a regular basis in next to none the effort to put up at least one main course is appreciated and I wish them well
The place was spotless and showed it was cared for, that alone deserves credit
