Many vegan options - Edit
Restaurant that offers several vegan options, such as sticky tofu, bbq tofu and burger. The sticky tofu was really good (although too spicy for our children), and there was nothing wrong with the burger. The staff was friendly and helpful too. Unfortunately I failed to take pictures of the food.

Got the crispy tofu sandwich and onion rings, literally so good. Especially because I’ve barely seen tofu in Iceland so this was a nice change. I also have a peanut and tree nut allergy, and they were very accommodating!

The food was just awful. Jalapeño poppers did NOT have plant based cream cheese as described by our server. It was three small ( shishito?)peppers, battered and deep fried. No filling. The sticky tofu tasted horrible. Vinegary and spicy hot. Not good. Bad Bbq flavor.

Great vegan options, busy! - Edit
We ate at Heppa Restaurant tonight. So good to have chili sin carne after too many lackluster vegan burgers elsewhere in Iceland (which I will eat of course, I’m not going to starve, but it’s monotonous). The chili was tasty, not spicy, and arrived in good time. They have non-alcoholic beer, which was appreciated.
Read moreIt was a Saturday night, and several large groups arrived after us, and clearly the servers were kept busy. My husband finished his beer and wasn’t offered another one (maybe that is the custom here?). Great view of the docks.
Pros: Great food selection (mmm, chili sin carne), Non-alcoholic beer available, Cool industrial chic vibe, music to match
Cons: Busy on a Saturday night - arrive early!

Some nice vegan options! - Edit
I was positively surprised by the vegan options! I had the sticky tofu sandwich and it was really good, though not mind-blowing. I'm just happy when I go to a restaurant in Iceland and the vegan options aren't limited to burgers and falafels - I love and appreciate tofu dishes!

Went here August 2023, after failing in finding other places in Hofn, and we were really suprised about the food (in a good way)! Many options were the Buffalo sticky tofu were my favorite. Will eat here again next time in Iceland

Read moreThey got different vegan dishes on the menu, a few starters, chili sin carne, tofu roll, burgers and even dessert. All clearly labeled vegan.
The atmosphere is industrial chic. When we came there, the restaurant was well visited, but its big so got a table on a friday night without problems.
Ordered the crispy tofu roll, which seems hard to eat but is very tasty. Taste of the marinated tofu very intense. Potato chips are the fries they serve, very good seasoned and crispy. The portions are really big (there were no space for a dessert😅).
Staff is really friendly. You sit with harbour-view.
Addition: have been there two days in a row. Second time was also good. Buffalo tofu very yummy. Onion Rings are really fresh.

Nice, modern interior, family friendly. Had the burger and fries (great) and the buffalo tofu (wouldn't get it again). Good value for the food compared to other restaurants.

This was pretty much the only restaurant open till late (closes at 11pm). When I got there, to my surprise almost 50% of the menu was vegan!
