Serves meat, vegan options available. Cafe in Papamoa East has a similar style and vibe as Kokako in Grey Lynn, Auckland. Has a small kitchen menu that changes seasonally with 11 options, of which 6 are vegan (v) or vegan possible (vp) and are happy to change things within reason. Also has a drinks menu that heavily accommodates vegans. Evening dinners on Fri/Sat in summer only. Open Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:00pm, Sat-Sun 8:00am-4:00pm.

I have had a few Fully vegan meals from here and they were delicious! Love the vibe of the cafe and layout. So cute

Summer Dinner - Edit
We had a lovely vegan dinner at Henry & Ted tonight. Although there was only one vegan main dish, Dahl fritters with coconut yoghurt sauce, it was a very nice combination of warm and flavory with light and fresh. The homemade juices were great too, we did not try the vegan desserts, but the sorbet and the vegan cheesecake both were tempting!
Pros: Well decorated restaurant, Nice atmosphere with doors open at to sides

New chef - Edit
They have recently changed their chef from the lovely lady who now runs Mr Jacksons vegan food truck (so good!!!) to someone else and have changed their menu.
They now only have 3 vegan possible items they are Avo on toast, muesli and pancakes.
The pancakes are much smaller than they used to be, the pancakes them selves are delicious, not loving the coconut yoghurt they use and the now lack of banana though.
Hoping they change the menu again soon and go back to having more vegan meal options.
