Served me a burger on a gluten free bun that it turned out had egg in it. I think they thought vegan meant gluten free?

Nice place with view over Kirkwall's harbour. Several vegan options including fajitas, soups, arancini, tofu salad and dessert. To be fair, I'm just happy to find vegan food here, I expected to struggle with choice!

Menu has changed from advertised on the web, very few options. I took the wraps... a weird sweet n sour sloppy stuff (no spoon) with tiny portion grated ?violife, more jalapenos than feasible, told they hadn't the wraps but they were standard supermarket wraps so I was given two (not warm)and a tiny bowl of a ready made salsa. £15 for about £2 ingredients. The waitress didn't bother asking how my meal was, I think she knew. 🤷♀️

It‘s nice to find 3-4 vegan options on the menu but… the cauliflower as a first course was about nothing , 5 tiny little cauliflowers and 3 leaves of salad… and the tofu burger: no sauce at the bread, the tofu was pure raw block of naturetofu without any seasoning… the best was the 1 fork full of coleslaw with an awesome sauce that should have better been in the burger too. A lot of money for no taste.

Well, I had a nice though not very flavoursome tofu katsu burger. The low score is because there was chicken in someone I was eating with’s cauliflower bites for their starter, although she eats m*at so didn’t complain, but I can’t fully recommend it to other vegans

Really enjoyed the fajitas. Didn't have room for pudding which was a shame as the vegan option (chocolate orange mousse) sounded amazing. Definitely book in advance - try to get a window seat upstairs if you can.

Nice cosy place (book ahead!). Had their 'mighty vegan burger'. My boyfriend said "it was one of the best vegan burgers I've had". And trust me - we've had many.

We found this on our second night in Orkney, the food was really good, it’s labelled on the menu all allergens, there isn’t a lot of choice but we were just happy to have food that was labelled vegan. We had the vegetable pakoras, Thai green curry and sweet potato fries, there was also a Bhaji sandwich on the menu and vegetable fagitas
