There is a new vegan/vegetarian menu with a vegan burger, pizza and buddha bowl. We can recommend the pizza with smoked tofu instead of cheese. Very friendly waiters.

We had a lunch at Hedonist in July. Very good location, 3 vegan options- we took the burgers with fries, which was really good.

Barely vegan food but two good dishes - Edit
The staff was really friendly and asked the chef what's vegan on the menu. We could order a pizza with tofu, mushrooms olives and really tasty tomatoes. Also had tapas (looked kinda like Bruscetta, bread with vegetables on) which was quite tasty.

Ein schönes Restaurant, nettes Ambiente. Ich war Anfangs sehr skeptisch, wegen den vorherigen Bewertungen. Jedoch war der Kellner sehr hilfreich & erklärte uns dass es hier lediglich 2 komplett vegane Gerichte gibt. Wir bestellten Pizza & Tapas. Beides war sehr gut zubereitet & sehr lecker.

A restaurant in Zadar with Vege options - Edit
Located in the old town, small restaurant with terrace which has a few Veggie options ( A rarity in Zadar ) I stopped here for lunch and wasnt that hungry, so had the green bruschetta, which was tasty, although couldn't be sure if the pesto was vegan. A good option in a town that doesn't really cater for non meat eaters.

Recently had the veggie burger here. Very good value for money. The burger was huge and came with fries too. Really enjoyed the food - wasn’t the best burger I’ve ever had but was still very good. Will definitely be returning.

We stopped here for dinner and were impressed with the food. The burger was tasty and filling (quite large) and the gnocchi was also delicious (my toddler ate it happily too). Bruschetta was also really good.

Great central location in the old town of Zadar. A very busy place at night time. Vegan options were , vegan burger, vegan pizza and gnocchi.....staff helpful and you can mix and match the menu....

Nice decoration - disappointing food - Edit
The restaurant looks fancy and the menue has labels for vegan and gluten free dishes. The food however was very disappointing - the vegan burger was bland and of weird consistency, the pizza took forever and was drowning in oil, I could barely eat half of it.. if fast food is your thing you can find vegan options here, otherwise would not recommend this restaurant =((((

Burger was really bland vegetable burger. Good to get veggie food in a meaty country, but was very average. There is a restaurant called La Famijila I think right next door. Their burger was much better!!! Try there.

Be prepared to wait for 40 min and get the wrong food - Edit
Went to hedonist because it had great reviews, were very disappointed. I ordered the vegan burger, I had worse but I for sure also had better ones. We had to wait for around 45 min. I ate with some non vegan friends and they were also disappointed in the food and also got partially the wrong food. We did not feel like exchanging it because the waiting time was so long.

Disappointing and not vegan? - Edit
We came here on our first evening in Zadar, as it seemed to be one of the few places where we could eat vegan. The place is nice, with a small terrace.

We ordered the bruschetta as an appetizer, it came with the main dish, it was fine but not delicious.
For the main course, I had ordered the aparagus cream gnocchi, and asked for confirmation that it was vegan - the waitress told me that nothing on the menu was vegan, only vegetarian, although other Happy Cow users seemed to say so, so it is unclear. The dish in itself was very basic, tasted like a basic green soup (although I love asparagus!), with gnocchi in it. My boyfriend's french fries were clearly frozen ones, not homemade.

They did not have my first choice of veggie pizza, so I resorted to a gnocchi dish with asparagus cream. It was quite delicious, and I appreciated that they labeled the vegan items here. A little pricey for Croatia but to be expected for a vacation spot like this.

Zadar had dire options for us so we were so excited to find this place! Nice seating and friendly staff. The food was really good, but I personally didn't like the Tofu in the burger so I took it out. Would recommend.
