Super friendly owner who was really helpful and accommodating.
Everything in this cafe is second hand furniture. Crestes a special charm. Didn't expect the basement to be that cool after it looking small from the outside.
Pros: Really good food, Sustainable appraoch Atmosphere

Lovely lunch spot... - Edit
We'd just arrived in Visby from Stockholm and needed a good lunch. This place, although not totally veggie, offered 1 veggie and 1 vegan main course, which was great. We had one of each, and although they felt quite old-school (lots of salad, lentils, nuts) they were very tasty and filling. We sat down in the cellar, which was kind of cool - shabby chic sofas, and you could hear people walking by outside. We didn't explore Visby much, we were going on to the other side of the island, so I don't know what kind of veggie stuff was on offer at other restaurants. But this place had decent food, was moderately priced, and was easy to find.

Nice salad - unpretentious - Edit
Had a nice salad for SEK75 which seems a fairly reasonable price. Has a nice laid back atmosphere.

worth a visit... - Edit
passed by this eating place on a day ashore in Visby.
Read moreWas attracted by the chalk board advertising Vegansnickers, so when it rained heavily a while later we went back. What a lovely little oasis of calm we found, and full of character, the light snacks we had were fresh and appetising, and the vegansnickers was sweet, syrupy, and the perfect thing to cheer you up on a day trip in the rain. The staff were friendly and and the atmosphere cosy, it certainly looks the place for the local people to meet and greet. Just the sort of place you would want to stop a bit longer in and settle deeper into a sofa!
Pros: Nice food, friendly staff , English spoken,

Best cafè on Gotland! - Edit
Hedbergs cafe is Gotlands only vegan-friendly cafe with lots of cookies and sandwitches that is totally vegan. It's located inside the wall of Visby and the prices is really low compared to cafes close by. This place is also truly one of the most cosily gotlandic cafes with it's old style interior design. Plus, it's a music cafe with live music in the evenings!

Cons: serves meat
