Gem in Sandpoint - Edit
First time at Heart Bowls and it was quite the surprised to find a fully vegan restaurant in Sandpoint. There's breakfast sandwiches, loaded toast, açaí/smoothie/or protein bowls, rice bowls, salads, n’ice cream, mylkshakes, a wide variety of baked goods, and of course coffee.
Read moreI got a breakfast sandwich that had Just Egg, cheese, beyond sausage, tomato, and spinach on an english muffin. It was tasty and would get again. All their smoothies looked amazing, so I had to try the Island Vibes smoothie. It contained pineapple, strawberries, coconut milk & apple juice. So refreshing. I can see why this one is a customer favorite. While I was there I had to grab one of their baked goods to take home, so I settled on the lemon and raspberry poppyseed cupcake. It was good, but I wished it had a stronger lemon flavor to pair with the raspberry frosting.
The service was friendly, prompt, and they love dogs. We had a pup with us and they quickly refreshed the water bowl and asked if they could give his noggin a tussle.
Overall a great experience and I’ll happily stop here again next time I’m in town.

Everything here is amazing, BEST BREAKFAST SANDWICHES, PERIOD! From the rice bowls, to the baked goods, to the açaí; you can tell it’s all made with love & care. The lattes are top notch and got me my chilly mornings started right! Can’t wait to go back & try more!

We stopped here for breakfast after a ski trip. Great Food, great atmosphere, delicious food, perfect customer service! We had a large party and ordered multiple coffees açaí bowls and sandwiches and thoroughly enjoyed everything. Most stop in Sandpoint ID!

What a gem in the middle of town. There’s everything to love about this place. Indoor seating and beautiful outdoor patio. Great staff and service timing. We had the loaded avocado toast. The balsamic glaze made every bite pop with flavor. The chai latte was good, not too sweet. I actually would have liked it just a tad sweeter.

We have been back a few times for the breakfast sandwich. We were surprised to find the sausage patty very satisfying, and with everything else made it a perfect breakfast meal.
And finally, we made it in before they sold out of the donuts. Tasty sweet treat, but not overly sweet.
Twixie bar is perfection. Chocolate “bar” with caramel sauce and the base pulls it all together.
Cookie dough is kind of grainy and more peanutty than we would prefer, but it is a protein cookie cup.
Double Love Chocolate Cake is every bit of chocolate love a chocolate lover could want!

We came here for breakfast both mornings we were in the area. Every single thing was so good. We had lattes, different toasts, smoothie bowls and the best part... the treats! Omg! If they have the blondie you have to get it! I ate 2! The best ever! Tons of gf options, even toast. Just about all of the Baked goods were gf. I also love that they stand for equality and justice not just for the animals but for alllll people. Def a great spot!

I loved my breakfast sandwich with beyond meat and vegan cheese. The tomatoes and spinach were super fresh. The Coffee was good too. This is no longer a food truck, but has its own building.

Absolutely delicious! An excellent variety and very accommodating and friendly staff. We didn’t expect much traveling through this neck of the woods, yet we discovered a delightful surprise here. Amazing flavors, and fair warning, the kimchi in the Hawaiian 'Asian Fusion' Rice Bowl is very spicy for wimps like me, though my husband loved it. We cannot wait to go try more things tomorrow…and again the next day on our way out of town.

Fast and friendly service with amazing smoothies/bowls/nice cream. I tried the banana peanut butter mylkshake and mint chip smoothie. The mylkshake was exceptional! My only complaint would be that the mint flavor in the smoothie was from an extract instead of fresh mint. It just leaves a funky taste on the finish and lacks the brightness of flavor fresh mint offers.

I think it’s safe to say this was the best açaí bowl out there just shy of going to Brazil yourself. I was very surprised to find granola at the bottom of the bowl which just makes it so much better. There was chia pudding on top too and just the right fruits. Amazing!!

The first fully vegan food place in Sandpoint! Everything they have is vegan and gluten free. It's totally heathy and I love everything they serve. Their acai bowls and smoothie bowls are the best that I have ever tried and I have tried a lot.
