A Burlington Staple

I adore this place! Always my go-to for food in Burlington. Tasty salad bar, lots of great pre-made choices, and not too expensive. I always visit here when I’m in town.

Pros: Good prices, Lots of options, Staff is the sweetest

Cons: Can get pretty busy

Great!

It’s funny that this is essentially right next door to a Trader Joe’s but we were glad to support this store. We honestly bypassed the store (but it looked great) and went right to the cafe area in the back. I would love to have seen more hot bar options — there were two soups and some leftover breakfast sandwiches from the morning. The soups looked great, but I ended up making a Buddha bowl from the salad bar/cold bar area and LOVED it. They have a ton of vegan baked goods and pre-made items to choose from and an outdoor patio just off the cafe area that has a lot of shade (and some sunny) areas to sit. It’s reasonably priced and hit the spot. Highly recommend.

Yay local produce

Whenever I am visiting a town or city or village, I like to partake in local produce. It's obviously easier in the summer, but here, it was super easy. I've been snacking on local blueberries, as in from the town where I'm staying in VT, from Healthy Living. They're delicious! I'm too lazy to pick my own and go to a farm stand and get all the things I want/ need.

They have my two favorite brands of ice cream here, and after that, everything else is just nice to have. Nada Moo and Coconut Bliss! Yes! They had 2 new flavors here that I haven't seen anywhere else, so, yes, I bought one and held back from buying 2, maybe regretting it.

They have pre-made food and sushi, which is cool. It's made in house. There's a little cafe here. You can get juice!

The produce, though, is what I really love. It all screams local, because so much of it is local right from the area. I couldn't decide what to buy, because there were so many great choices for veggies- but how many bags of micro greens can you buy if you're only in town a few days?

They have a great selection of bulk items, as well as staples for the vegan diet. Nondairy milks and cheeses are here, as well. Oh, and vegan baked goods - my favorite is there's a gluten free baked goods section by the breads. Cool.

Need some body lotion or a new water bottle? Check. How about a new recycled bag/ tote? Check. Personal care beauty products? Check.'

Great store. I've been here each time I've been in Burlington and am sure to be back.

Pros: Local produce, Vegan ice cream selection, Bulk bins

Better than trader Joe's or Whole foods

In my opinion, this place represents what makes me a proud Vermonter! Local fruits and veggies year round, great products, friendly staff and wonderful environment. Prepared foods are a bit pricey but everything is so good! You can find your healthy whole foods as well as many vegan treats!

Pros: They have the biggest selection in Vermont, Cheap and great produce

Cons: Expensive prepared foods

more than just groceries

Tons of vegan products, and all the house made vegan products are marked with a blue V! The barista station has tons of non-dairy espresso, smoothie, and juice options as well as at least 2 flavors of vegan cookies, muffins, and cupcakes daily. Also a sandwich and hot bar with vegan aioli and lots of other choices.

Pros: cupcakes!!!, price of baked goods
