Great vegan food in Iowa! - Edit
Never thought we’d find a vegan haven when passing through Iowa! Food was excellent, and the market was cute too and had lots of vegan goodies.

Outstanding Food, Family Owned, Great Energy - Edit
We were in town for a concert, and wanted a healthy breakfast. Found this vegan cafe and store. We tried the Bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and the Torta. We also took a vegan breakfast pizza to go. Everything was delicious! Now they just need to open a location in the Western suburbs of Chicago

Yum! Surprising - Edit
HUGE menu and decent prices! Shocked everything was actually vegan. I was overwhelmed and didn't know what to order, but settled on the chickpea melt. It's basically a grilled cheese with chickpea salad. The mac & cheese was pretty decent, definitely could tell it's vegan, haha. They also sell the chickpea salad, slaw, and a couple other sides in a grab n go cooler in the little grocery store.

Midwestern gem - Edit
The midwest does actually have a few hidden gems for vegetarians and vegans. This is definitely one of them. A large, tasty, inexpensive menu. Also includes a little vegan market.

Vegan deliciousness - Edit
Friendly family run business. Had the sausage sandwich with Mac and cheeze, both were amazing! Nice atmosphere, sat outside. Plenty of options on the menu, and best part its ALL vegan. Even got my non-vegan boyfriend wanting to return for another taste 😋 Definitely on my top list!

Wonderful plant based vegan food - Edit
Family owned plant based vegan friendly market and cafe. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food we ordered at the Cafe was amazing. We had the Philly steak, buffalo tempeh mac and cheese and Cubano. My belly was happy and we were able to take some home for dinner. The veggies are locally growned and the family is well vested into their community to promote a healthy organic lifestyle. I'm definitely coming back as much as I can.

Best vegan food in the Quad Cities - Edit
Healthy harvest urban farms is a great cafe and store. They have an amazing selection of grocery items you would only see at places like Whole Foods. The prices are very reasonable, especially their menu items. My wife and I always find new products we’ve never seen before. The cafe has a wide variety of delicious meat alternative foods; they literally have everything you can think of from Cuban sandwiches to pizzas and fresh fruit smoothies. I would highly recommend trying them out!
Read moreThey also locally source a lot of the grocery items and most if not all the products are organic.

Yummy! - Edit
Unfortunately the oven was down when we went, so there was a limited menu. But we got the Hot Ham and Cheese, a Cuban sandwich and Nachos and all were delicious! We were also able to pick up a few items from the store that were very reasonably priced.

Great food and service! - Edit
We had some delicious vegan BBQ and hamburger macaroni at Healthy Harvest Urban Farms! Their cheese sauce is homemade along with the BBQ in the photo. Check out their vegan cafe and unique grocery store if you're in the Rock Island area.

So happy for this Happy Cow listing. We are on a road trip and that can make eating sometimes challenging. Our lunch was delicious! It's so nice that everything is plant based and features great combinations. The market had a great selection of vegan products, a lot of new ones that we don't normally have in our market. Owners and service fantastic!

Excellent menu which is entirely vegan. I've been here dozens of times and never had a bad meal. Every single item is made and/or grown either in house or within 50 miles.

Terrific option! - Edit
Huge menu, reasonable prices, everything we ordered was delicious! There is very little vegan food in this region of the country, so I am so grateful for this option. I also picked up a few grocery items - good selection. My chicken Parm sandwich was out of this world!

Amazing local family-owned business. A true gem in the QCA! - Edit
Cafe absolutely has the largest selection of vegan food in our area (and is 100% vegan)! I have eaten here several times over the years, and haven’t had a bad meal yet. The pizza is unbelievable, the sandwiches are top-notch, and the breakfast options are wonderful. The grocery store has many vegan items that simply can’t be found at other stores in our area. I was so happy to see they made it through the pandemic. I got “the Bernard” sandwich today, and it was just as good as ever (which is really, really good). Nothing else within a 100 miles radius can compare to this gem.

Wow! - Edit
I’ve lived in the Quad Cities for over a decade, and this is the best meal I’ve ever had. The BBQ Mac and Cheese was better than anything I’ve ever eaten. The menu is huge and I wish I would have been visiting for longer so I can eat all of it.

Surprise of our trip! - Edit
My wife and I stopped here on a whim while driving back to NY from Colorado and boy were we impressed! Huge all vegan menu, reasonable prices, HUGE portions and it was delicious! We are our way most of the way across the country and this was one of our highlights by far! The BBQ mac was fantastic as was the western burger and Cuban sandwich! If you’re in the area or within a reasonable detour, make the stop.

Is This Heaven - Edit
Huge vegan menu to carry out/dine in within a small grocery store. Everything is reasonably priced and I was able to find brands I haven’t been able to find elsewhere. My one and only complaint is the mushrooms seem to be canned which was surprising and off putting but everything else was great.
