All vegan Filipino fast food, affordable - Edit
Nice new place in Manila that's technically outside of Metro Manila. The area is really a bit less crowded than most of Metro Manila. We tried shawarma (price and size is modest, the wrap was more like a papadum), double burger (the patty was banana blossom-based, I think; a bit pasty but OK), nachos (with fake meat, may not be the typical nachos Filipinos would expect), chocolate milk tea with vanilla ice cream (delicious), banana celery smoothie (delicious, but more like a shake, it had some vanilla ice cream, and thinner than a typical smoothie), cardamom hot milk tea (the tea had a bit of a leafy/smoky aroma like oolong or lapaang souchong, not very cardamom-y), halo halo (delicious, but fewer components than a traditional halo halo), saucy spaghetti (Filipino style, sweet sauce). There are maybe 8 to 10 tables for 4 people each. You order and pay directly. The plates were nice, but many of the drinks were in plastic cups. Some of the cutlery was nice, but some were cheap "prison style" cutlery. The was no air con on when we went their, very warm, but they brought a fan, which made it very comfortable. The counter for ordering is very high, a bit awkward. You can pay with g cash too. The place is directly on a main road, so very easy to find. They have no "We're open" sign, but if the lights are on it should be open 😀
