Delicious and filling - Edit
The food here is great. Every dish I’ve tried has been delicious, and the menu is extensive and varied. There is a dedicated vegetarian page on the menu, although it doesn’t distinguish between vegan and vegetarian. The owners clearly understand about vegan food and speak perfect English, so you can always check with them.
Read moreFood can be a little slow to come out, which is probably due to every dish being prepared fresh. Definitely worth a visit if you have time, but perhaps not a great choice if you’re in a hurry.
The Sri Lankan roti (which is delicious) doesn’t include bread, even though I thought that “roti” means bread…
Minor complaints aside, I keep coming back here. The food really is excellent.

Incredible… - Edit
The owners are the sweetest couple who spent time chatting with us and making us feel so welcome. We tried a variety of vegan, veg and meat dishes (4px) and they were all delicious. Plenty of vegan options and you could chat away with them and I’m sure they will adapt. Would love to go back😄

Best restaurant in the city! - Edit
During an unexpected two-week stay in Tuy Hoa, my partner (a vegan) and I (dealing with lactose intolerance and soy allergy) struggled to find a restaurant offering English menus, Western cuisine, and vegan choices. Fortunately, after a week of searching, we discovered Hayan. This gem not only caters to vegans and those with allergies but also serves delicious dishes, including coconut coffee, flavorful curry, and authentic Indonesian Nasi Goreng. Some meals, like the vegan curry, surpassed any we've had before. I highly recommend Hayan to everyone—excellent food, friendly English-speaking staff, and a delightful atmosphere with great vibes. #Veganuary

All the foods are absolutelly delicious, many vegan options available, friendly and professional stuff and the owner is very caring person who is always looking for feedback to make things even better. This is the only place in Tuy Hòa I would be able to eat every day.

Hidden gem in Tuy Hoa, Vietnam - Edit
Me and my wife were delighted to visit this hidden gem in Tuy Hoa. My wife is a local and i'm Indian, so I often find it hard to get variety. Which is why I was more than pleasantly surprised at Hayan. In fact, I was blown away.
Read moreThree moths old and rising in popularity, the sheer variety in the restaurant is matchless. Chef Gayan, from Sri Lanka, makes a fiery, spicy chicken Vindaloo, the likes of which I haven't had in India. Minus the oil and bloated feelings, it's truly homestyle and healthy.
But if you thought it's only south Asian cuisine that stands out, you're mistaken. The tacos are among the best I've had anywhere in the world, including North America, the bolognese is meaty and whole, the selection of oven fired pizzas impresses, even the flavored teas and desserts can more than hold their own.
Hats off the Chef Gayan, whose diverse experiences and 5-star culinary training are on full show.
I come to Tuy Hoa perhaps 1-2 times a year, and each of those times, I would add Hayan as a 'tourist attraction' in this town :). Two thumbs up!
Pros: Best Tacos, Home style and Healthy , Impressive pizzas
