Great ice cream! Would highly recommend the soursop. I wish this flavor were more widely available Portions were generous and fairly filling. You just need to be lucky enough to be in town on Friday and Saturday when they're open.

This was such a fun find in Hilo! There were about 8 ice cream flavors to choose from (all vegan), and they were delicious! Very creamy! The portion sizes are huge- the smallest size is two scoops. It was a very cute shop and the employee was very helpful!

Definitely some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had! The Piña Colada flavor was so creamy and delicious! Can’t wait to go back here!! Oh and I really liked that the ice cream bowls and spoons were environmentally friendly!

This was the best ice cream I’ve ever eaten, vegan or not. I had the Thai Iced Tea flavor and chocolate chip cookie dough. It was a really good value too - two scoops for around $5, and you can get two different flavors.

Super friendly owner, offered us free samples of all six flavors do we could decide. The flavors change daily and seem to bear no resemblance to the signs on the wall 😊. The "ice cream" was tasty, nice to have a treat we could enjoy on a warm afternoon. I had the coconut and my husband had the cinnamon.

Newly opened and delicious! 100% vegan coconut milk based ice cream. I really liked the Kau Coffee flavor. I can't recall a vegan ice cream I have ever enjoyed more. Walking distance to Bay Front.

Highly recommended! We stumbled upon Hawaiian Licks at the Pahoa Sunday Farmer's Market. They served us a huge cone for $3.50 of some of the creamiest coffee ice cream my partner and I have ever had - and we're both long-time vegans and ice cream obsessed.

Best vegan ice cream ever - Edit
This place is a must visit. We went here twice during our trip and enjoyed every lick. The owners and staff are super friendly. They let you sample everything, in fact you may fill up on samples alone. The flavors are Devine and super hard to choose from as every single one is yummy. The base is a coconut milk/ coconut creme but you would never know. I only tasted the flavor of the ice cream. Only negative is that it is not easy to see the store. If you drive down the one way street it’s on the opposite side of the teal and purple building.
