Family visit

Visited as the only vegan with my omni family.
I had the Dolma, chickpea hummus, SOSLU PATLICAN, bread and falafel.
Though the food was great, the only hot Meze available was falafel. I feel more hot options are needed.
There were a couple of vegan sides but I didn’t spot any vegan main dishes (I might be wrong). This was fine for the hot summer but not great for winter.
Only dessert is sorbet

Pros: Food was nice, Tapas style , Clear labelling (two Vs = vegan)

Cons: Not many filling looking mains, Not many hot vegan options

A good number of vegan options!

Quite a lot of vegan stuff on the menu and though it is a bit predictable as a chain restaurant, the food is yummy for what it is! Worth a visit

Tasty authentic food

Top tip - download their app and you will get £5 off your bill.
I recommend the falafel, hoummous and flatbread, tagine and sweet bulgar. The hoummous and falafel wrap off the lunch menu is also good. I am yet to try the dolmades but I imagine they are good. Very flavoursome and generous portions. The staff are friendly too. I think it could be improved with a vegan dessert on the menu (not ice cream or sorbet). Also, the vegetable shish is not worth the amount of money, when you look at the cost of a side, you are essentially paying £11 for some chopped veg.

Pros: Good portions , Tasty food, Mezes are delicious

Cons: Noisy in the evening , No dessert, Vegan shish is not good value compared to meat ite

There were lots of vegan and veggie options and food was excellent

The mezze section had lots of vegan options - falafel, aubergine dips, the dolma, and they had vegan salads! Food was very tasty and affordable!

*some* vegan options

We often visited this restaurant when the whole family were vegetarians and it was a family favourite. After I decided to try veganuary I wanted to give havet a go as a vegan. There are a few options on the menu highlighted as vegan which is great but I was made to feel quite awkward when I asked if they could make various dishes vegan. For instance their side orders of spicy rice and mixed fried mushrooms. Not sure why the rice would not be vegan as it stated it was cooked in vegetable stock or why they couldn’t just fry the mushrooms in oil but I was made to feel very uncomfortable by even just asking. Don’t get me wrong it’s definitely worth a visit - something for everyone, great atmosphere and service - just stick to what’s on the menu and don’t enquire about what’s actually in the food!

Pros: Quick service, Options for everyone, Good atmosphere

Cons: Bit pricey, Staff don’t seem to know what’s in each dish, Aren’t prepared to make a dish vegan

Some divine dishes

Me, my husband and some friends went for lunch. The vegan and veg options are all listed clearly on the menu. My husband had the vegetable shish which he enjoyed. I shared some meze dishes with my friend all of which were gorgeous. The real knockout was the imam bayildi, they offered to make it vegan for me (without feta) and it was totally exquisite. I would recommend anyone try the imam bayildi made vegan. Soooo good. Going back next time I'm in the area.

Pros: Not too pricey, lovely decor, quite a few vegan ch
