The vegan rice plate was so good. It was a large amount of rice, black beans, salad, and delicious fresh mixed vegetables, with two yummy fried plantains. We also enjoyed the yucca fries with chimichurri sauce. The food tasted fresh and homemade. It tasted like what food in Havana did when I was able to find veg food there! The Cuban coffee was awesome, with the choice of sugar, light sugar, and no sugar, again tasting like you’re in Cuba. For a veg/not vegan kiddo, the tostadas were a nice option with enough food and good price.

Yucca Fries are amazing! - Edit
This was our first meal in Kanab. And even though it’s basic Vegan food it was very good and well season. The show stopper though was the yucca fries with whatever dip they came with. Omg so good! The maduros sweet plantains also really good. They also had plenty of vegan friendly options for coffee.

Nice surprise in Kanab! - Edit
We loved the Vegan Rice Plate and Cuban espresso with almond milk! Restaurant options in Kanab are minimal so to have an authentic Cuban restaurant WITH vegan options is absolutely divine. They have daily specials and typically one of those specials is vegan or vegetarian that can be made vegan (burritos, tostadas, wraps). The service, taste/quality/amount of food, price, and dog-friendly patio will keep us coming back again and again. Not to be missed in Kanab!
Read moreUpdate: they've now added a homemade vegan burger. It's gluten free. It wasn't my favorite but it's not to have that option.
