Excellent Vegetarian Indian Buffet! - Edit
Very nice spacious dinning room with yoga classes upstairs and small shop downstairs.
Large, vegetarian fresh and clean Indian flavors with traditional and fusion of Indian Japanese, example the inari rolls, also mung bean sprouts for salad toppings. Great chai, fresh nan and/or chapatis, several choices of curries. Different choices frequently. Friendly staff speaks English. Accepts credit cards.
Great vibe. Great location near the Japan Sea, a wooded park and an old Temple.
Worth a trip to Niigata to experience!
Pros: Environment and serene location, Great food, good price, great vibe, Yogis working and practicing
Cons: Short taxi or bus ride from town center
