Serves meat, vegan options available. Biggest cantine on the campus of the university. Dishes change daily, but there is always at least one vegan menu and one vegetarian menu, many vegan side dishes (e.g. coleslaw) & a vegan dessert. Also offers a buffet with various vegan options. The special daily offer (which is the cheapest menu) is oftentimes vegan. Open Mon-Fri 11:30-14:00. Closed Sat, Sun.

I think that, as it's a university restaurant, the vegan options are generally good. Some dishes are excellent. There is usually more than one vegan option on the menu, clearly labeled. I see that the food could have more healthy options on the menu. The prices for guests (only) are quite expensive for a university restaurant, but at the same time very little compared to ordinary restaurants. It's worth eating there as a university student and vegan, good and honest food in general.

Normalmente existem mais de uma opção vegana no cardápio, claramente rotulados. Vejo que a comida poderia ter mais opções mais saudáveis no cardápio. Os preços para convidados (apenas) são bem caros para um restaurante universitário, mas ao mesmo tempo muito pouco comparado com restaurantes comuns. Vale a pena comer no local como estudante da universidade e vegano, comida boa e honesta no geral.

Die veganen Gerichte sind mal besser, mal schlechter, aber immerhin gibt es immer eine vegane Option und wenn man das reguläre Gericht nicht mag, gibt es immer noch ein (etwas teureres) Buffet, was viele vegane Sachen hat.

Immer vegane Optionen - Edit
An der Hauptmensa gibt es - auch in Corona-Zeiten - mindestens ein veganes Gericht. Meistens sehr lecker, manchmal ist das Gemüse verkocht. Hier kann man nicht viel falsch machen! Am besten auf den aktuellen Mensa-Plan schauen.

I’m pretty surprised by the vegan options on the TU Campus. First day I tried the Galerie (by accident, I was actually looking for the Hauptmensa) but on the second day I was able to find the Mensa.
Read moreThere were at least two vegan main dishes, a bunch of labeled vegan stuff at the buffet and a vegan dessert. I had a vegan burger with fries which was fine. You obviously can’t compare food quality to restaurants, but for the price it’s good and the portions are generous. So for a cafeteria this deserves 4 stars.

Mittlerweile gibt es hier täglich drei vegane Menüs. Mindestens ein Menü wechselt täglich. Es ist immer lecker und der Preis ist unschlagbar.

I'm so grateful this place exists. The prices are really good, especially if you're studying at the tu. There are dishes for every taste; pomme frite with tasty vegan mayonnaise, sweet vegan rice pudding with hot cherries, mie noodles with vegetable side dishes, ... The buffet is also higly recommendable.
