Pasta was excellent - Edit
Their house pasta was excellent and wonderfully filling. Additionally their frites and focaccia was also delish. Unfortunately our server was very distracted and kept ignoring our table. Also, my food came out about 10 minutes after others at my table. For reference, we were there at 8pm and there were not a lot of people at the restaurant, so it didn’t appear to be an issue of too many tables, just poor service. We eventually had to ask another server to print our bill.

Delicious and creative vegan dishes! - Edit
Chef John Stephenson is one of the most creative chefs in Nashville! His vegan choices are far more interesting and thoughtful than any other vegan dishes I have had in this city. Definitely try the Sweet Potato Pave and Tagliolini with Sunchoke Cream, I ate every speck on my plates! And if you are as tired of Sorbet for dessert as I am, do yourself a favor and try their very unusual Sorbet that is truly a solid dessert unto itself. Layers of flavor and texture - so unexpected!

Fabulous Foodie Food - Edit
We LOVE Hathorne. Their menu is clearly labeled (GF, Vegan, Vegetarian, and Nuts), which makes it super easy to order. It is a great restaurant for folks of different dietary needs, so it makes for a very relaxing experience (because you can make everyone happy!). They also tend to have a LOT of vegan options for being a traditional restaurant (and many vegetarian options can be made vegan). We sometimes have a hard time choosing which small plates to order. We've gone twice and both times they hit the vegan options out of the park. They were also very friendly and helpful about it, so made for a great dining experience. The beets are in a sauce that is divine and the Tempura Kale was delish!! Two thumbs way up!
