Only go during daylight! - Edit
This may be the most important review I wish I read before going here: if you want to stop by, I’d recommend to to so during daylight. I was here on evening and the place was swamped with mosquitoes (not weird for Don Det) but unfortunately the sad thing is that when I was here mosquitos were dying/falling from the air right onto my plate.. of spinach curry. Needless to say it was pretty much impossible to see them. I know they were there because they were everywhere, als fell into my rice, on the table, on me.
Read moreThe quality of the food was actually very good, I just couldn’t finish my food because of the dead bug situation. I came here on my last evening in Don Det so unfortunately couldnt try again!
Also I do not come from a country where this is a common thing, maybe there is an easy way to fix it. I wouldn’t know and I just hope my warning can help someone in the future. I felt very bad for spoiling my food and potentially killing mosquitoes just with my meal.😥
English is spoken and I could confirm there was no dairy in my curry. One of the most vegan-friendly places in Don Det. Beware the menu says the whole vegetarian section is vegan, I don’t think it is as there are dishes with butter. Just check before ordering!

The owner is from India and makes very good food . I've eaten there a few times, papadams, samosa, chick pea and spinach , Chana masala - all good and she's very friendly.
