Perfect after a full day of kayaking! - Edit
We came here to get a quick bite after kayaking all day. It really hit the spot. The food was delicious and very well seasoned. I loved the fact that it came with freshly baked wholemeal pitta and that you could help yourself to salad from the salad bar. We originally opted for one item each but then had to get an extra one to share because it was so tasty! I would thoroughly recommend this place to people visiting Ghent.

Simple but tasty - Edit
We came here for dinner. Most of the options were vegan except one. I really liked that they came with a wholemeal pita. I think that worked nicely with the flavour. You also get a container to use for your salad (which you choose yourself). The felafel itself was tasty. The fillings were nice too. Very cheap, good dinner option.

Sehr leckere Falafel - Edit

Amazing falafel - Edit
Freshly made falafel with freshly made bread. We ate the last falafel on the list and the owner told that it is the least good one. We were suprised because this one was already fantastic for only €5😄

Lekker vers! - Edit
We namen twee verschillende falafelbroodjes, 1 met een slaatje en tahine en 1 met aardappel en tomatensaus. Samen voor €10. De falafel werd vers en snel gemaakt. Het eten was superlekker en we kregen er nog een slaatje bij. Behalve 1 broodje is alles vegan! Hier gaan we nog komen😄

Last affordable vegan place in Ghent! - Edit
This place has been my sanctuary for years, because, while Ghent has lots of vegan options, all of them are overpriced/expensive. This place has had stable prices since forever (5 euro for falafel and salad bar!). Also offers other Egyptian inspired (vegan) dishes. Only one option isn’t vegan, all are vegetarian. Friendly service, clean interior.

Small & basic but cosy snack bar with top quality falafel, very affordable. Love the wholemeal, homemade bread they use. I’d go for the more culinary versions with garlic sauce or eggplant. Owner is so kind!

Great value but average falafel - Edit
This is a fast-food take-away place. When we were there, they seemingly were either almost sold-out or not ready with their preparations - there wasn't much choice for toppings/salad. As others have stated, I also don't like that they put the falafel into the sandwich, but the hummus and other toppings ("salad") comes separately (in plastic bowls, from where you are supposed to put it into your sandwich yourself...). You can taste that they prepare everything themselves, the seasoning is unique and good. But all in all, it was just an average falafel experience. For me it is a place where you can have a quick and cheap meal when you are close by, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Basic - Edit
I chose the 'hummus obsession' which was rather dry. The falafel itself was okay. I didn't like the fact that the salad and hummus is served separately in a plastic cup. Also had the fresh mint tea which tasted good but again it's served in a plastic cup even though we ate at the restaurant.

Extremely Tasty & Cheap - Edit
Simple, but delicious! I really didn't expect it to be that good but would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes falafel! Everything is vegan except for one sauce (Aïoli ) as it contains eggs.

The best - and cheapest - falafel in Ghent - Edit
We were so in the mood for falafel and after discovering the cheap place past Mokabon has closed down, we researched other places in the city. First, we went to Greenaway. Great, but at 13 euros, very expensive. The next day we took bikes and went to #falafel. And wow I am so pleased we did. The food is incredible, so many fresh flavours and I love the use of dill in Falafel. It reminds me of my time living in Israel many years ago. There was a lot of choice for different combinations, plus you can help yourself to salads ina small box whilst you wait. The owner was really friendly. Definitely worth seeking out if you're in Ghent

Delicious, nutritious falafel - Edit
This is actually one of the best falafels I've ever eaten. The homemade falafel with the whole wheat bread is absolutely delicious and really makes a great combination and stands out from any other falafel place. You can fill your falafel with eggplant, potatoes, etc. according to the menu. I first stumbled upon the place on New Year's day two years ago when nearly everything else was closed and have been going there ever since. No other place beats this quality for such a low price.

Ontzettend lekkere falafel.

Great place for all your falafel needs!

I got the Nuba Falafel, and it was very nice. Can't wait to try more from their menu!
