Serves meat, vegan options available. Small, locally owned deli with numerous vegetarian and vegan options. The sandwiches are named after famous musicians. Offers both tempeh and veggie burger as vegan protein options, hummus and other spreads, as well as a variety of vegetables in the build your own sandwich category. Also has soups and salads as well as snacky items such as local herbal popcorn, chips, and both vegetarian and vegan packaged cookies. Sources local ingredients. Open Mon-Sun 10:00am-8:00pm.

Nice local sandwich shop in Orono - Edit
Harvest Moon has lovely panini sandwiches and salads. They have at least six vegetarian options on the menu plus a daily special that is always vegetarian or vegan. For vegans, the options can be somewhat limited. I would think the best bet would be to order off of their custom sandwich menu or ask them to not put dairy on some of the vegetarian sandwiches on the menu. There is now a second location in Bangor.
Pros: many vegetarian options, Tasty!
Cons: not many veg options, can be a bit slow
