Serves meat, vegan options available. Mexican restaurant offering tofu, vegan cheese and sour cream along with other marked vegetarian options using seasonal vegetables. Open Mon-Fri 11:30am-10:00pm, Sat-Sun 11:00am-10:00pm.
I love Harry's and was always impressed before becoming vegan.... (Their shredded chicken was the bomb! ) But.... As a vegan, I prefer to just make my own off of the menu options by omitting meat and making sure extra mushrooms or onions and peppers are added. Not a fan of tofu or any processed soy/vegan "meat" faux items so can't really attest to the tofu on the menu.
If you're idea of vegan fair is an overpriced block of plain tofu in a wrap , then this might be for you. I was very disappointed !! Get a sofrito down the street at chipotles , cheaper and better tasting.
Myself and 2 others stopped in for an early lunch at Harry's there weren't very many people dining at the time but our orders took forever for them to make. I've only been this one time so I'm not sure if it's a normal problem or not. As far as the food it wasn't my favorite, I thought the flavors were off and everything was unauthentic. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here but might eat here when with friends since they offer both vegan cheese and sour cream.
I love seeing that places are offering vegan choices even if the restaurant mostly targets meat eaters. It makes it easier to convince my friends and family to go there and it also might encourage other people to try vegan! And you can't go wrong with Mexican food and some vegan sour cream and cheese.
