Good vegan pub - Edit
It's a fairly big space, but perhaps lacking a bit of character compared to older establishments. The staff was super friendly and the food arrived quickly. It was good, I wouldn't say it was great. I think it could be a bit more exciting and packed with more flavour to make me want to go back there again hence not a 5* review.

Such Friendly Staff & Amazing Food - Edit
We’ve been to H&C twice now, staying in one of their rooms and having dinner. Obviously if we came back that says it all.
Read moreI remember the first time we drove the 80 miles to get there and walked in to find the place rammed. I thought this place can’t be vegan, not in the middle of the countryside. I had to check the menu but yep fully vegan and pretty much every table was taken. A proper pub - vegan 🤯!!
We’ve always found the staff super friendly and helpful. We had none vegan friends with us the first time and one of the starters they had on was sourdough with cashew cream cheese and ‘salmon’. My friends were convinced they we’re eating actual salmon that’s how realistic it was. It wasn’t on the menu the last time we went but we got to try other wonderful food.
Highly recommend this place, makes a great base to visit Bath or go walking.
Pros: Atmosphere , Fully vegan, Amazing Staff

Lovely food, friendly staff 💚 - Edit
We had a really nice meal here while on holiday in Bath. The member of staff who served us was very friendly and welcoming. The food was in good sized portions and reasonably priced.
Read moreConsidering we were there on a Thursday evening it was busy, so definitely book to avoid disappointment.
My daughter said her lasagne was the nicest she ever had! Two of our group had the Korean burger and one the regular burger.
We all had chocolate brownie sundaes for dessert. Very sweet but a lovely treat after the meal.
The decor was clean and simple, with lots of indoor plants adorning the ceiling and walls, plus vegan magazines and books for customers to browse.
An added bonus was that there was free electric car charging for customers, which was really useful.
I really hope the Harp and Crown continue to be successful in bringing vegan food to this little part of the world.
Pros: Welcoming atmosphere, Fully vegan , Delicious food

Perfect Sunday roast - Edit
What a great place with both a pub and restaurant space, we had booked to sit in the restuarant but as it was quite busy and loud decided to sit in the pub instead which has such a cosy feel to it. The food really is exceptional with many choices for those who need to be gluten free. Especially good to know that all the drinks are vegan so no need to faff about having to ask. Staff didnt bat an eyelid that I wanted a starter as my dessert. Great food, great friendly service and really well priced, what more could one want?! I only wish we lived slightly closer so this could be our regular!

A gem to find - Edit
Me and my partner visited the copper shell animal sanctuary and was told by one of the volunteers about this place. I was told the profits go back in to the sanctuary and I knew I had to visit. The food was more than amazing and the pub garden and indoor plants really make it such a special little place. I will visit time and time again. We had the ceaser salad and lasagna and we were stuffed.

Wonderful food in a relaxing setting - Edit
After a long, hot walk it was great to relax in the large garden. We had three starters to share; hummus, seitan bites and veg wraps. All including the sauces were excellent. Very enjoyable and the staff were friendly and attentive.

6 of 5 stars😅 - Edit
Amazing! Here you can get not only burgers, but also typical British dishes- but plant-based - such as cottage pie and a Sundays roast with fantastic yorkshire pudding (only on sundays); lemon curt slices and toffee pudding (don't miss it!!!!) for dessert. But also the starters and the lasagne were very good. Wished we could go again! They als have some seating places outside in their big "garden".

Best pub ever!!! - Edit
Wow this pub is incredible! Everything is completely vegan. Absolutely loved the interior with lots of plants and the garden was beautiful. I took my non-vegan dad and grandma and we all got the Sunday roast, all of us thought it was so delicious!! I haven’t had a Yorkshire pudding since being vegan so this was just wonderful to be able to enjoy a full roast. Will definitely be coming here as often as I can!!

Harp & Crown - Edit
All vegan pub with separate bar and restaurant areas. It was busy which was great to see, I would advise on booking a table. I had the moussaka with Greek salad and a side of chips. I was disappointed to not see the fysh and chips on the menu as I’d seen photos of this and it looked fantastic. But the moussaka was very tasty and the cheeze topping lovely and melty. I opted for the sticky toffee pudding for dessert and this had a deliciously light sponge and sweet syrup. Friendly service. Dog friendly venue. I was able to stay in the car park overnight in the campervan after buying the meal, do ask first if wanting to do the same, no facilities overnight. The owners also run Coppershell Animal Rescue, some of the proceeds from the pub go towards the running of this wonderful sanctuary.

My favourite food spot - Edit
Sadly I haven’t been in the UK for 5 months now but I wanted to add a review for my favourite spot which I’m lucky enough is close to my home. Everything at the harp and crown is locally sourced, and they constantly change their menu keeping it creative. I must’ve visited over 10 times and I never had a bad meal. I cannot explain how good this place is. And a pub in corsham which attracts not only vegans is just a wonderful thing. Everyone needs to visit!

We just love the Harp and Crown.
Read moreBeautifully renovated, laid back service and a diverse vegan menu that changes often.
We’ve just visited for our anniversary and their festive menu was a joy.
If I was made to find fault it would be with their puddings which can be a little hit and miss, but the starters and mains more than make up for it.

Fantastic, as always - Edit
Took my two meat eating friends here for lunch. One with a severe nut allergy. Both were blown away by the food. Restaurant was busy, but not crowded, with tables being turned over and reseated frequently. Our lunch was delicious and not a long wait. Staff were great and really helpful.
