Amazing roast! - Edit
Such a gorgeous meal here - huge portions (definitely didn’t need the starters!!) and a lovely garden to sit in in the summer 🌾💛

Ampia scelta di piatti e bevande in locale vegano dall'atmosfera rilassante. Non tutte le portate sono buone. Personale molto cortese.

Warm atmosphere - Edit
Friendly + spacious.
Read moreVisited accompanied for a vegan anniversary with a booked table.
I requested the macaroni cheese, chips, deluxe hot chocolate + a pot of tea which all came to a reasonable price, all were delicious and the portion sizes really decent. The mac n' cheese was one of the best I've tasted! We didn't have to wait long for the food to come at all. The person I came with downed their roast pretty fast, so safe to say that it was thoroughly enjoyed!
The waiting staff were attentive + friendly.
Appreciated the aesthetic of the interior and how clean the toilets were.
I look forwards to coming back for sure!
Pros: Attentive + friendly staff, Delicious food, Portion size plentiful

A gem, worth the detour! - Edit
We went there for a meal on my birthday. Everything about this pub was amazing. The beautiful chilled decor, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and of course, the food. We had burgers, I had a ceasar chicken style burger with fries. Good portion sizes, and delicious flavours.

Incredible pub! - Edit
Visited a late Sunday lunch, only one option (nut roast) but absolutely delicious. Also offer a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks!
Read moreN.B. According to their website, the pub doesn’t serve food daily anymore, need to check their Instagram page. They hadn’t posted about food this week, but responded super quickly to my message. Bookings likely essential as the dining area was full and we didn’t manage to get a table before 2.

So glad we stopped - Edit
Fantastic food that just happens to be vegan. We tried 2 small plates as starters - Mac ‘n Cheese and Jerk wings. Both were delicious. We had the banana blossom fish and chips and Caesar seitan burger, again both were excellent. If you are nearby stop in. If you aren’t make a special trip as you won’t be disappointed

Worth the travel to visit - Edit
Amazing to have a fully vegan pub in a stunning venue, filled with real plants and lovely garden.
Read moreUnfortunately I didn’t take photos of the food but wish the portions match the menu. For instance, instead of mashed potatoes, the pie came with roasted potatoes. And the curry did not come with much veggies as expected, only a few mushrooms and pepper. But it was very tasty. And so was the dessert 🍨😋

Unique, friendly vegan pub! - Edit
Finally went to try Harp & Crown recently and it was a lovely pub with a great menu.
Read moreHere’s my thoughts: had the jerk seitan wings and tostadas for starters. The wings were great but wasn’t keen on the jerk seasoning, would prefer bbq wings but that’s down to my palette. The ‘tostadas’ should have more than one on the plate imo, £7 is a bit steep for a single taco.
We had the banana blossom fish and chips and the burger for mains, the portions were enormous and the ‘fish’ was great. Minted peas were not my vibe, mushy peas are a necessity with fish & chips, it made my entire plate minty! The burger was phenomenal though, super big and juicy.
The Booja Booja ice cream was well priced at £1.50 for a scoop and very tasty, I’m gutted I ordered cheesecake and the last slice went to another table instead, so I’ll have to come back for that.
Super high ratings for a kind team & lovely atmosphere, albeit a bit cold in the room we were in. I think with the feedback above, my rating could be a 5⭐️ in the future.

definitely worth a visit - Edit
for vegans it is awesome. For the non vegans I have brought here they seem happy too.
Read moreI love when I work close to here, I eat here when I can.
Biggest problem, the menu changes so often its hard to have and keep a favourite. Which really is a good problem to have. Excellent approach to interesting food with many new things to try.
oh, also desserts.
Pros: sunny garden, get it while you can, always something new to try

One of the best Sunday roasts - Edit
I came with my parents (who are not vegan) for Sunday roast.
Read moreI had the no beef slice (seitan) roast, other members had nut roast roast and one had the fish and chips. All extremely good and big portion sizes. Worth the 30 mins drive out of Bath.
Great pub, lovely staff and great food!

Lovely and welcoming pub with an all vegan menu. Could possibly do with a few more veg / healthy dishes amongst the sharing platters?

Happy, friendly vegan sanctuary in Wiltshire - Edit
This is such a happy, friendly relaxing place.

What sets it apart is its atmosphere. Really friendly service and you can bring your dog. She enjoyed it too.

Service so good I felt compelled to tip. Great food, although menu could benefit from wider dessert range to include a lighter option or two. Toilets superbly clean. Lovely decor and ambience.

Pudding was lovely, the pub is great and the staff are lovely. The roast b**f was odd and the mains were really expensive. I'd come again for coffee and pudding!

Top quality roast - Edit
I went with my partner and his family who are all omnivores and they were all so impressed. The food was faultless. I had the roast and you could tell care had gone in to every element. It was so fresh tasting and a treat to get a Yorkshire pudding which I’ve not had for years! I’ve big portion sizes and all reasonably priced. We were doing dry January and there was a fab selection of non alcoholic drinks. Really friendly staff too.
Read moreIt’s really nice how the pub area is very separate to the restaurant area so it would also be a lovely place to stop for a drink sometime (although would be hard to not be tempted by the food!)
We also shared the chocolate brownie which was divine. #Veganuary

Cons: A little chilly inside

Best roast ever - Edit
I’ve been here two years in a row for a Christmas dinner and my whole family loved their meals (even the picky younger brother). Lovely building and kind staff. The roast is delicious I had the nut roast this year and the seitan last year - both were great! They even have vegan Yorkshire puddings. 10/10 would recommend- some of the profits go to the local animal sanctuary which is a bonus

Cosy pub with quality homemade food - Edit
I really enjoyed this pub, the interior is really cosy and nicely decorated and there are quite a few good dishes. The Sunday menu is limited but the options are great and what I did try tasted homemade and fresh😄
Read moreIt’s very close to coppershell animal rescue too so would make a nice day trip.
The only downside really was that the last available online booking for Sundays is at 4pm, so we arrived for then but were quite rushed, so the last bookings should be for a bit earlier to avoid this.
Pros: Tasty homemade food , Cosy
Cons: Quite rushed

Great food in a cosy atmosphere - Edit
You wouldn't expect this: a traditional English pub in the middle of nowwhere- but all vegan! We had maccaroni&cheese, enchiladas, seitan wings and tacos- everything was fantastic. And the best thing ist that a part of their profit goes to an animal shelter in the area.
