Top Marks and gold stars

We just stopped for lunch and couldn't resist the jackfruit wings which were absolutely delicious and so much better than the meat alternative.
The chef couldn't have been more helpful, giving us numerous vegan options and making us feel proud to be vegan.

Pros: Loads of vegan options, Super friendly staff, Loads of vegan wine options

Vegan pizza

Multiple vegan options including a vegan steak (very tasty) and the chef told us that all of the steak sauces are made with lentil cream. Partner had a vegan pizza which was fantastic. Had a great conversation with the chef about the rise in demand for vegan options. The only downside was a lack of plant milk for a hot drink after dinner, but we wouldn't hesitate to return here when in the area and would recommend to others.

Pros: Good selection of vegan options, Fab pizza

Cons: No plant milk

Great vegan and gf options

We didn’t realise the options available here until we saw a review on Happy Cow. We were pleasantly surprised, my husband enjoyed the vegan steak and chips with a peppercorn sauce and I had a gluten free, vegan roast veg pizza which was huge and filling! Other options were a vegan steak burger, and a pasta dish. Definitely worth a visit. They are really allergy friendly with a separate fryer for the chips and a separate prep area. Was a really enjoyable evening 😍

Amazing steak and peppercorn sauce

Really lovely steak (was impossible brand at time) cooked to rare-medium (the chef cafe out to ask!) with lovely tomato, mushroom, peppercorn sauce with chips. Chef was so helpful and told me the peppercorn sauce was made with lentil cream and was really excited to tell me about the vegan options and how they are constantly testing different brands of vegan meats. Vegan mayo seemed to be homemade and was lovely! Would give it 5 stars if happy cow would allow it for non-vegan restaurants. Good portion sizes and prices also - £12 for vegan steak and chips.
