Harduf restaurant

A charming place with a pastoral atmosphere. We came to check out the vegan options. We took the dish for a pair of Indonesian stew, green salad and almond patties. For drinking we took a small jug of haunted drink from the hibiscus plant. I will start by saying that the drink was excellent and refreshing with a sweet taste of plum tea. The pairing dish was large and satisfying, the almond patties excellent with a sweet sauce, the stew was nice but lacked some seasoning and the salad was fresh with plenty of vegetables in a successful sauce. For dessert we took the apple crumble with vegan strawberry ice cream, an excellent dessert that also feels healthy and has plenty of vegan ice creams to choose from.

A wonderful vegetarian restaurant in a kibbutz

If you're in Israel I'd say you can make a small trip to the North to visit this village and its restaurant. The food is probably one of the best vegan food I had in my life, worldwide, with very original mix between Hungarian, Yiddish and modern vegan recipes, cooked with care, I'd even say with love.
I even bought the book with the history of Jutka, the woman who founded the restaurant, with her recipes and her personal theories about nutrition. It is also a great experience talking with her.
Prices are maybe high for an Israeli kibbutz.

Pros: Excellent food!, Great location into the nature

Cons: Prices
