Happy Veggies - Yuen Yuen, Hong Kong - Edit

It's like Happy Veggies elsewhere. The social enterprise arrangement to employ hearing impaired staff is wonderful.

The food is good also. It's a good idea to download the vegan passport if you speak Chinese neither verbally nor in sign language (for depending on the staff member who helps you). Dishes on the menu containing egg are marked. I believe the waitress indicated they don't milk nor honey. However such is my still abysmal grasp of HK linguistics I can offer no assurances re that.

It's an interesting setting among all the Buddhist / Taoist and Confuscist (sp?) type architecture and culture.

Pros: Vegan friendly, Social enterprise employing hearing impaired staff

Cons: 100% vegan would be better
