Not often can you find a vegan Chinese restaurant. Interesting options on the menu and a very friendly staff who takes time to explain everything.

The ladies working there are the kindest! Even if communication in English was a bit tricky, they really gave their best and were super welcoming and attentive.
Read moreFood was super good and I loved their spicy sauce. They also have bubble tea and their waffles were yummy too.
They’re honestly not the fastest, do consider that if you’re in a rush. Totally worth the wait though.
They also gifted us a homemade Mochi ☺️ will definitely come back!

We had lunch at Happy Veggie, tried the dumplings, noodles and fried rice. The restaurant staff was very nice and kind, and the meal was delicious! We will come back😄

This small eatery in Thököly way is a rare find in Budapest. It's fully vegan and serves traditional Chinese food and bubble tea (made with oat milk or coconut milk).

We ordered several dishes to share, all tasted amazing. The dumpling soup and the noodle-based peanutbutter-topped dish were my favourites.
The staff speak a little English, and use a translation app to communicate.
They are very kind and hospitable. We even got a small complimentary dish to share.
I highly recommend Happy Veggie if you like Chinese food.

New place, very clean, minimalistic and organized. Perfect for couples or small groups - seats around 8 people max. Order from pictures as the owners speak some english and no Hungarian, of course if you're chinese you'll have an easier time.😅
