Affordable little local veg resto

We came here on a Sunday afternoon when most of the places were closed. It’s a nice little local restaurant so don’t expect anything fancy, but they have an extensive menu, they serve you quick and the food is good. They understand what vegan means and will omit egg and dairy.
Food was good, selection amazing and they also sell some snacks which might come handy.
We ordered veggie fried noodles and a spicy sour soup which both were ok.
They only accept cash, but there is an atm nearby.

Pros: Extensive menu

Cons: Only accept cash

Great vegetarian food with a few misses

Food choices was excellent and food is generally delicious except for some dishes like their sweet and sour bean curd which was just chilly sauce with tomatoes thrown in and very sweet.
They also sell frozen food which can be reheated as well as vegetarian instant noodle packets.
They also nicely ask if we were ok with eggs.

ok for once

This places offers several kind of dishes (chinease, indonesian, indian). The indian menu wasn't available when we came. We ordered a noodle plate and a dish with a soup some rice and tofu. Well food just good. Not amazing. Apathetic staff.

Good mix of foods

Have been here a few times, there is a good choice of buffet, mains and also indian rota and dhosa with stuffed veggie meat fillings. Is nice and cheap although the last time we went on a Sunday they didn't have most of what we wanted.

Pros: Cheap, Wide variety

Cons: menu items not always available

Amazing food and friendly people

This restaurant was an absolute gem of a find. They serve amazing food and we ended up coming back here for most of the nights we spent in Kuching. We ate our way all across the street food menu (around 5MYR for a main) to try all the dishes that are local but usually with meat, in a vegetarian variation. Laksa and Rojak are just two of our favourites! They use a lot of meat substitutes for the noodle or rice dishes, but also offer lots of mushrooms or vegetables. In addition to that they serve delicious rothi and dhosa and most of that for under 5MYR. There is also some a la carte food which is a bit more expensive, from 10 to 20MYR. The owners are extremely friendly and are happy to engage you in short conversations about your travels or your home country, because strangers don't seem to come by that often. If you're somewhere around Timberland Hospital, don't miss this place!

Pros: good food, cheap, friendly people

Food is delicious, big-portioned & reasonably-priced

Nice ambience, has different price range. Offers ala carte stir fried dishes, economy rice, porridge and even menu plans for banquet. Food is delicious, big-portioned and reasonably priced. RM5+ to RM10+. Serves Chinese and Indian food. I highly recommend this place!
