Small vegan food shop est. since 2012. It's the showroom for its internet shop which delivers across Moscow. Offers a varied range of food products including organic and raw. Between Arbatskaya, Kropotkinskaya, and Smolenskaya metro stations, it's located a bit hidden in a backyard but easy to find when following the signs placed at the gate and in the backyard. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-8:00pm.

Great place

I live in the UK most of the time and there you can find vegan options almost everywhere and because of that i was rather scared going to Russia. But turns out I shouldn’t have been scared at all! This shop has a vegan option for everything you could imagine. Would recommend 100%!

Pros: All Vegan Shop, Selection of cheeses and pate is exceptional

Cons: Didn’t find B12 supplement there

Best vegan shop in Moscow

If you want to buy vegan products, you should visit this place. Good benefits is large range(vegan and healthy food, cosmetics and other vegan stuff, possibility to pay by credit card, very good location (near “ARBAT”, it’s a historical center of Moscow). So if you are the vegan, it’s one of place you must visit.

Pros: The best vegan place in historical Moscow center, Perfect and friendly staff, Largest vegan range in Moscow, with middle price

Cons: Good price, discount system (vegetaryan cart)

Amazing little place

Here you can find soy meats, tempeh and tofu, seitan and different vegan sausages, and lots of vegan cheeses, milks and yoghurts, as well as falafel and vegan sweets. Lots of local and imported brands, most of them quite cheap. They also sell cosmetics, but the selection is quite small and mostly on the expensive side.

It is quite small, so it runs out of certain foods pretty frequently, so you have to check their website if you want something in particular.

The street where it's located is very quiet and cosy, I love walking there.

Pros: lots of rare foods, friendly staff, cheap

Cons: limited stock, no sign on the wall

More than a shop

Amazing. Small little shop which has absolutely everything you need to have and just a little bit more. It has a vegan version of cheese and milk, sgushjonka and mayo, sausages. There is a wide collection of drinks, sweets and cosmetics. There is such a perfect and good looking collection of gelatos and fresh fruits and of course all the hand made and perfect different nut butters

Pros: All vegan

Yay, Happy Vegan time!

So nice to have a vegan shop -- one of a couple options, I gather, in one of the world's largest cities.

It is tiny. But you can find a range of the most important items -- i.e., that you will not find in supermarkets: veg milks, fake meats, tofus, etc.

I find the Russian tofu quite good generally (the firm kind I like), and this was no exception. I got a Russian soymilk in a plastic 'milk bottle' -- bear in mind that that version is very much 'from the bean', with nothing to smooth it out a little.

The staff were friendly! The prices on many items were pretty good, while some were fairly pricey. I think that is largely just the state of things -- Moscow is not super-cheap, a lot of the stuff in the shop must be imported, and there is not yet a huge demand.

Note on location: I saw the sign on the outside gate (the shop is in the basement of a residential complex), but neglected the map on it! Don't do that, or you will be a weirdo stranger wandering the complex like I was. :)

Anyway, come support them so that they can grow!

Pros: Veg options in a veg-limited big city, Some good prices, Nice people

Cons: Some prices high, Tiny, A little hard to find

It Really Is a Happy Shop!

Needing vegan milk after arriving in Moscow, I set out to track down this place, right away. It's in a very nice, residential, neighbourhood and the address is pretty easy to find. As others have mentioned, you enter through the gate and you're just in a courtyard. I didn't see any signs but if there are then that would be useful-- there are some other small businesses in the courtyard, too. So, after entering the courtyard, turn left and look to your left, again, to find the stairs that lead down to this little shop. One of those places you think "there's no way I'm in the right place" and then miraculously find it!

The staff member I met was very friendly and helpful. He mentioned that Russia can be difficult for vegans. This does seem to be one of the few places to buy specifically vegan products in Moscow; for the moment, at least. I did see a couple of other places but I'm glad to support this little business.

Although the location is small, they stock many interesting, unique foods. Lots of drinks, frozen items and various healthy things! I bought almond milk and frozen pierogis (which were quite sweet). Vegan milk is definitely more expensive here than in North America but at least you can find it!

Definitely worth coming here. The fact that it's kind of hidden just makes it that more special! Very nice area to walk around in, as well-- not much traffic and just a peaceful walk.

Pros: One of few options in city, Friendly staff, Russian items

Happy Vegan Shop

Nice small vegan shop. Reasonable prices. I would like to find more variety of the products.
You can find the shop from the inner yard on the left side and you need to go downstairs. Looks like a cellar.

Friendly staff and variety of vegan food

I like this shop and from time to time use their delivery service of vegan food when I don't have time to go and buy it myself. And it's very convenient if the purchase is heavy :)
The most thing I like about these guys is their friendliness and customer service. They really care.

Pros: Staff, Delivery service, Variety of products

Cute little all-vegan shop in Moscow (Arbat area)

This nice little vegan shop is located in a backyard, but not difficult to find. If you saw only the backyard you would not assume that such a great place was hidden here! The shop is located in a basement and when you approach it the entrance does not look very inviting, but once you are there it becomes all different! You enter a nice, light, clean friendly space with good products and great people.

The shop is really small but I find the variety of products amazing. Everything is there: raw food items, mock meat, soy milk, "cheese", "sausages", sweets, cosmetics - you name it! Even Italian ice cream. I saw quite a few Russian brands (if you don't know them yet, try the yummy "Bite" bars!), but also a lot of international ones.

The staff is superfriendly and helpful. I did not ask if everybody who works here speaks English, but the 2 guys who were at work when I popped in did. We had such a nice chat that in the end I forgot to buy the ice cream!

This place is for sure worth a visit especially when you visit the historic (and touristy) Arbat area. And if you live in Moscow being vegetarian, vegan or raw foodist this is the place to shop anyway.

If you live or stay longer in Moscow or anywhere else in Russia, you might want to make use of their web shop, it has a very impressive selection of products. The site is Russian only - so far - but if you don't speak Russian, you will for sure find someone to help you figuring it out...

Pros: Variety of products, Friendly staff, Moderate pricing
