No vegan options found - Edit
No vegan options found. Die Muschelsoße ist leider auch nicht vegan (weil Muscheln enthalten sind…)

Acceptable - Edit
We ate here twice, mainly because it was close to our hotel and the fact that all grocery stores and most other restaurants were closed on Sunday and a Monday holiday. The vegan selections were very limited, the kung pao sauce was pretty salty, and several items include “flavor enhancer”, which I believe means MSG. The mango sauce and curry sauces are made from a combo coconut milk and dairy milk. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. I appreciate their effort to provide something in a VERY non-vegan town, but two meals was enough at Happy Kitchen. After that we bought groceries and ate in our hotel.

Sehr köstlich und günstig! - Edit
Kleiner Eckladen mit freundlichem Personal. Vegetarische Gerichte sind gekennzeichnet, vegane nicht! Daher unbedingt nachfragen!!!

Delicious - Edit
Really nice and delicious asian restaurant with plenty of vegan options. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is nice. The seating area could be a little more cozy but overall it's a good place to eat.

Unfortunately, a disappointment - Edit
Unfortunately this restaurant was a little disappointing. There were hardly any vegan options on the menu. The reviews here say that there are so many, but that was not the case when we visited. Maybe the menu was changed during lockdown?
Read moreAnyway, the only options were two soups and the summer rolls, plus one main: Chop Suey.
My husband chose the summer rolls and I chose the vegetable soup. They brought the shrimp summer rolls, though (although we are a 100% sure that we ordered the vegan ones), so we needed to wait some more for the vegan rolls.
After I had finished my soup, I was looking forward to drinking my fresh ginger tea, but it was totally sweetened with honey. This might be my fault because I did not specify "unsweetened" (it says nothing about honey on the menu, though). But by then, we just wanted to be on the go again, so I just left it.
To add the positive aspects: The vegetable soup was quite tasty and the vegan summer rolls were good, too. Service was very friendly. I just think that after visiting a few excellent Vietnamese restaurants with many vegan options in the past few weeks, our expectations were different.
Pros: Friendly service
Cons: Not many vegan options, only one main, Brought us a non-vegan dish first

Very delicious - Edit
We took a little afternoon drive to Baden-Baden from Karlsruhe to walk in the park, and came here to grab a bite to eat before heading back home. There's a whole page of vegan items that it is right on the first page of the menu. Thankfully it was a beautiful sunny day, so it was still warm enough to eat outside. They only have two outdoor tables, but we went late afternoon, so there was no problem getting one of them. Everything that we ordered was really delicious. For starters we shared the gyoza and crispy spring rolls, I had the Pho and my husband had the udon noodles. We'll definitely go back again on our next outing in B-B.

Excellent Udon noodles - Edit
We just moved to Baden-Baden and were quite sad about the missing vegan options on local restaurants menus, but this place comes with a full page of vegan only sides, pre courses, main courses and soups. We had the tofu nuggets as a starter and udon soup and fried udon as main and it was amazing!!! It was not the standard asian seasoning but really authentic as far as we can judge. We will be back for sure!
