The restaurant serves several labelled vegan dishes including vegan plant-based pork bao bun, Thai basil and goji berry pesto pasta, vegan drunken noodles (request no egg), vegan ramen noodles, vegan egg rolls and more. Also serves on tap the local "Ginger Raider" drink, which is a vegan probiotic cold-pressed juice cultured with (vegan) water kefir, apple, lemon, ginger, and lemongrass. Limited stock

Visited Happi Spatula on a Saturday hoping to grab at least one vegan friendly to-go item. Half the shelves were bare and there were definitely no vegan options, with the exception of one tofu salad. Pretty disappointed.

Pros: Clean

Cons: Limited stock, Not vegan friendly

Happi Spatula is an amazing Asian fusion market and restaurant/cafe with lots of vegan options~!

I truly love this place. The Vista location has only been open since March of 2022 (though the San Marcos location has been open longer). I have been several times, both to do grocery shopping and to eat at the cafe and outdoor patio. The "Vegan Plant-Based Pork Bao Bun" is phenomenal, and they have many other dishes on the menu that I am looking forward to trying! The vegan Thai basil and lemongrass pesto with goji berries is also delicious! This place is just wonderful, with friendly and helpful staff, and the on-tap vegan "Ginger Raider" (water kefir, apple, lemon, ginger, lemongrass) is the perfect drink to accompany a meal and appetizers! I look forward to visiting again!

Pros: Lots of creative vegan options, Diverse Asian market with many vegan options, Great indoor and outdoor space to eat
