Vegan restaurant, opened summer 2013. Has a living-kitchen concept with a daily changing menu and various desserts. Previously at Lappenbergsallee, opened at new address from May 2017. Close to U3 Feldstraße.
Note May 2020: open for takeaway and outdoor dining, see Facebook page for weekly hours. Open Tue-Fri 12:00-22:00, Sat 11:00-22:00, Sun 11:00-17:00.
Kitchen closes between 4-6pm.

Read moreWe had a hearty breakfast with grilled cheese and club sandwich. Would love to see some v-bacon/smoked tofu or similar and some kind of cheese or veganized egg-something (silken tofu…) on the club-sandy as in the original version. I especially enjoyed my iced coffee with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.

Unfortunately, what was delivered really didn't match the price. The coffee (americano) wasn't very good, the food took long to be prepared but was super basic. A piece of toast with store-bought hummus and a few mushrooms with salad on the side, a tiny tacco with a bit of scrambled tofu and feta with pickled onion, a piece of cake and a mocca with cream, €43,30€. I don't mind paying extra for great quality, but that wasn't it. Easy to replicate with ingredients bought at Lidl.
I understand rents are expensive, and so are ingredients, but I wouldn't go back knowing what I'm getting.

Honestly, we were disappointed. Definitely w.r.t. the ranking on happy cow but also more generally, compared to other vegan places. The salads had clearly been prepared quite a bit earlier, and the dressing added so that everything was limp. The dishes were ok but not great.

That's not a criticism of the young lady who served us: she did her best to stay on top of things but with additional outside seating, and her male colleague taking an extended lunch break with friends during lunch service, there was only so much she could do.

I absolutely love this small, unassuming restaurant near Feldstraße! It’s a shame I overlooked it for so many years: it’s truly a hidden gem, and we’ve been coming here regularly ever since! There’s a great vegan selection, both sweet and savory, and everything is made in-house. There are also plenty of glutenfree options available.
