Not your everyday fast food - Edit
We had the luck of stopping at Happen Poel on our way to the island. They have a split menu of vegan and meat dishes because the cook is vegan and his female partner not. That day there were five vegan options of which we tried the bigger Seitan roll and the smaller Power roll (Seitan and Kimchi). Both were really good with homemade Seitan and regional vegetables and bread rolls. The sauces are also homemade and quite interesting as are the combined veggies. Overall a great and unusual culinary experience. The people are nice and there's also a heartwarming story to their business/food truck. If you have the chance, visit them and enjoy their food. It's worth a detour.

we had grilled seitan with different veggies and potatoes, everything was fresh and really tasty. it’s a big difference compared to “regular” food trucks. the sauces were extraordinary, like dandelion pesto. super friendly staff. definitely recommended! 🌱

Im Happen Poel findet ihr wirklich mal anderes Veganes Street-Food. Der Seitan ist hausgemacht und super lecker. Die Saucen, bei mir Sanddornsenf und Löwenzahnpesto, sind auch hausgemacht und super frisch. Die Kartoffeln sahen ebenfalls sehr lecker aus. Man merkt dass nur frische Zutaten verwendet werden und saisonales Gemüse. Auf meinem Seitan Brötchen waren z.B. Erdbeeren, Radieschen, glasierte Zwiebeln und Spargel zu finden. Einfach nur lecker!
