Happy to have anything to eat at all in tourist-trap Bran.
Read moreDelicious and fresh avocado tartare (aka guacamole), served with bread although this isn’t mentioned on the menu (luckily I don’t have a gluten allergy….)
Not so delicious mushroom stew with polenta. Stew wasn’t warmed through properly and lacked flavour. Polenta was hot, soft and tasty.
Service attentive.
Pros: Oldy-worldy setting, Fresh avocado starter
Cons: Surprise ingredients, Food not heated through properly

המסעדה נראתה יוקרתית והיא מתחת למלון וקצת נלחצנו, אבל היו מחירים ממש טובים ביחס למה שחשבנו ובכלל. לא כל מלצר ידע אנגלית, אבל הם מצאו מי שכן והיא הסבירה לי מה טבעוני ומה לא. הזמנתי פולנטה עם תבשיל פטריות ברוטב, סלט סלק וסלט פטריות אויסטר בתחמיץ שהיו וואו. היה ממש טעים! הסלטים ממש זולים.

The place understood immediately when I said I'm vegan and suggested the Mamaliga which was good (though a bit too much seasoning) and I also got the small salad.

Nice Veggie/Vegan Options! - Edit
This happens to be the hotel’s restaurant. They have only a few options, such as the vegetable soup -kind of minestrone soup- delicious! the Mushrooms with Polenta, grilled veggies and a beans stew. Overall the food was good, tasty, and fairly cheap!
