Corean bistro

There are several vegan options. I tried the gimbap. The taste was ok, but it was packed in plastic, even though we were eating in. I had been voping for a home-made mochi, yet that as well was wrapped on plastic - so probably bought ready made.

Authentic and flavourful

We asked the server to clarify what was vegan but all the allergies are listed against the dishes. We opted for bibimbap without the fried egg and the rice cakes without the fish add-on. We also ordered the vegan dumplings. The price was only 23/24€!
The bibimbap was deliciously salty which was perfect for the hot weather and the rice cakes had an amazingly hot peppery sauce. The dumplings were also good but another time I want to try the glass noddles with fried vegetables.
A fantastic place for lunch.

Hidden gem!!!

This small Korean lunch place is quite a hidden gem, but not far from the city center (appr. 8 min walk from Viktualienmarkt). You can tell this is an authentic place when looking at the Korean clientel, don't be discouraged if staff doesn't look Asian! Almost every dish can be veganized and the menu clearly states them. We had kimbab, ddokbokki and dolsot-bibimbap, and for the latter they even substituted the egg with fried tofu cubes, kudos to so much attention to detail. Also it's almost dirt-cheap (for Munich), we paid less than 30 Eur for 2 people (incl. soft drinks) and left with full and happy bellies.
