Best option at the airport

If you want a proper meal at Münich airport, go here! Many vegan burgers, sides, even desserts available. All clearly labelled on the menu.

OMG SO GOOD

Amazing vegan burger (WOLPERTINGER), so many other vegan burgers that I can’t wait to try, and they do not skimp out on sauces 🤤🤤🤤 #Veganuary

Best Choice at MUC

We had two different vegan burgers (Sonnengruss & Zeitgeist), both are very delicious.
Together with French Fries, lemonade and a coffee as a menu.
Positive: Ketchup and mayonnaise at the tables are vegan.
Negativ: No soy or oat milk available, and a lot of trash.
But again, the best vegan option at this airport; and all in all very close to the Peter Pane standards.

Pros: A lot of vegan options

Cons: Not this cheap , No oat or soy milk, A lot of trash

Easy to get to from G

I had an hour between flightsZ. I took the train from G. Sat down at the table at 1433, ordered by 1435, and had my food by 1442. The waiter was great. The food was good. It was nice that they had vegan sauces too!

Pros: Five vegan burgers, Vegan sauces!, Big portions

Cons: Sweet potato fries were a little sAlty , Espresso was just ok

Very nice vegan choice

Very nice vegan choice, with lots of options to choose from. I had the Feuermeister burger, a yummy vegan patty with lettuce, tomato, vegan cheese, and spicy hot sauce in a whole wheat bun, and a fresh side salad.

Pros: Many vegan options

Awesome airport find with vegan options

Happy to have stumbled across this at the airport! Cool spot with options for my omni husband and myself. I didn't have high expectations for this burger, and it ended up being DELICIOUS!

Would recommend it, even though it was a bit pricey.

English menu and English-speaking staff.

Pros: Vegan options, English speaking, Cool atmosphere

Cons: A bit pricey

Pretty good burgers

We were very happy to find this place, since vegan food at this airport is not exactly common. It was also nice to see that they had a couple of different options for vegans; four different burgers and a dessert. We tried the Angerling burger, sweet potato fries and guacamole. Everything was quite good. The service was nice and efficient.

Pros: Good burgers, Efficient service

Cons: Next door to the smoking room

Nice vegan burger

Went there during a transit flight for diner. The vegan burger and fries were good. the restaurant is at gate K18 so you can take the shuttle to get there from the gates G. (you won’t have to do the security controls again)

Pros: 4 vegan burgers on the menu, 3-4 vegan sauces unlimited on table (incl bbq)

Cons: Welcoming inexistent

Not my Job mentality.

This is an airport, people need to eat and go. Today there was one waiter overwhelmed and people needed to wait. While at the same time, 4 people and the manager were there, looking into the void.

It was a clear „not my job“ mentality.

Despite there being a Menu available which includes a drink, we had to pay everything because WE did not say we wanted the menu. The bread was their choice because we did not chose.
Basically, the waiter thought it was not her job to tell us about the several types of bread and explain the menus.

About the food: it has nothing to do with what you would normally eat at Hans Im Glück. The burger I have eaten is what I ALLWAYS eat, so it took one bit to ask, „wtf is this“?

It was my first bad experience at a Hans I’m Glück restaurant.

If you work at a restaurant and your job is to be behind the counter, you will not die if you help the waiter. Try it! If your job is to take others, tell us about the daily menus and maybe you will get a tip.

Pros: It’s at the airport

Cons: Very hard to find

Pretty decent, but far from Terminal 1

This is just un update regarding the location of the restaurant, as this is, to my knowledge, the only place offering clearly labeled vegan food at the airport.
If you travel from Terminal 2 Gates K-L, then there's no problem.
If you travel from Terminal 2 Gates G-H, then you'd need to take the shuttle train, which comes every 4 minutes or so.
Now, if you travel from Terminal 1, it gets complicated, as you first need to take the shuttle bus, and then the shuttle train (and then the same on the way back). Because the shuttle bus comes every 15 minutes or so, I'd say you'd need about an hour to be back to Terminal 1, so be careful! Now you can check my review of the food. :)

--------------------
I had one the four vegan burgers (the Fabelhafter which comes with avocado).
The patty was good but not memorable.
On the other hand, the fries portion was generous.

I wouldn't call the place super vegan friendly; but at least they offer you options, which is very much appreciated in an airport, even more so as I could not find any other cafe/restaurant which would offer at least one vegan plate.

If for some reason you need to eat at the airport, just come here. You won't have to explain what vegans can and can't eat!

Pros: vegan options (more than one), good value (for airport food), relatively quick service

Cons: not all vegan, no vegan desserts, very far from Terminal 1

Awesome

Not just one but three or four vegan burgers! Was a very pleasant surprise at the airport with otherwise totally non-existent vegan alternatives. Saved my very long layover. Also reasonably priced, didn't notice much of the airport-extra. Quite tasty too!

Pretty awesome place, lots of vegan options

I was not really expecting a positive answer when I inquited at the cashier whether they had any vegen options before sitting down, but they quickly showed me a menu with an astounding number of vegan options, both for burgers and other dishes.

The taste of the burger I selected was very nice, it was filling, and most of all, the spicy patty was really spicy (not just a little spicy, but still according to German standards)

I definitely will go there again whenever I have to switch at Munich airport, as a matter of fact, this place is a reason for me to go for a flight changing in Munich as opposed to some other place!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Great taste
