If you would like to have a quick meal, to stop your hunger you can go to this restaurant. Unfortunately our Quacamole dip was frozen inside when it was served. The place itself is very crowded and therefore not very clean. The good thing is the choice of different vegan burgers and sauce, which you can buy, if you wish.

Negativ: süßkartoffelpommes kamen kalt und nicht richtig gegart.
Parmesanmayo schmeckt nur nach Essig. Man konnte/wollte mir nicht sagen von welchem Hersteller das vegane Hähnchen stammt, wäre für meine Allergien wichtig gewesen.
Saucen auf dem Burger wurden abbestellt, waren trotzdem drauf. Der Salat auf dem Burger hatte zum Teil schon dunkle Matschstellen.
Pros: Alle Saucen am Tisch sind vegan , Verschiedene vegane Burger
Cons: Zu teuer , Lieblos, Qualität lässt zu wünschen übrig

Wenn ich mal Lust auf Burger habe komme ich gerne hier her. Die Soßen am Tisch, vorallem die Orange-Mango, schmecken einfach genial zu süßkartoffelpommes. Das einzige, was ich etwas frech finde, ist das vivera schnitzel, dass als crispy chicken Burgerpatty verwendet wird. Dass passt geschmacklich nicht sehr gut zum Rest meiner Meinung nach.

From the neo-conservative pseudo-hip 'forest' interior styling of the franchise, to the long waiting times, the unfriendly staff, to the mushy vegan burger patties, I've been disappointed by Hans several times.
Read moreI will say that they have nice fries and unusual sauces. The vegan burgers that I tried were unpleasant and quite expensive. There are better options for burgers in Mainz!

Out of their four vegan burgers I tried the „Angerling“ with mushrooms and a 3 pepper sauce, and I have to say the 3 pepper sauce was really, really good. The bun and patty were nice as well, but the sauce made it super delicious. Also, when you arrive till 5 pm, you get a really good deal of burger, fries, a non–alcoholic drink and a coffee for 13,50 euros. Staff were friendly but a bit slow.

Hans im Glück is a German food chain that has three vegan burgers on its menu. If you order a menu at lunchtime you get a burger (my favorite is the fabelhafter) with fries or salad, a cold drink (I like the ice teas, but I like it sweet) and a hot drink (Tea and black coffee is vegan) for ~14 €. In the evening the menu costs ~17 € and instead of the cold and hot drinks you get a cocktail.

I also recommend you try all 3 vegan sauces that they have, especially the orange-senf (mustard) sauce. Ketchup and barbecue sauce are also vegan there.

It is nice to see that some chain stores offer vegan food. Hans im Glück has 3 burgers which are vegan plus some vegan sauces to their fries. The burgers taste okay, but also quite expensive. We also made the mistake of ordering one of their home made lemonades which had some extremely sweet cordial in it and tasted horrible. The fries were good.
Read moreOne thing that bothers me a lot is the extremely loud music which they are playing inside. Sitting outside (in summer) can be actually quite nice but I could not stay for longer than a couple of minutes in this atmosphere.

This is a chain-restaurant that serves burgers, salads and fries. There are three different vegan burgers, that can be combined with different breads. The food tastes good. Even though the interior design is beautiful, I don’t like the atmosphere, as it is way too loud inside. It is a good place to go when you have little time and are accompanied by hungry meat-eating friends.
