Good Vegan Lunch Option - Edit
There aren't many vegan lunch options in the loop, Hannah's is one and the options are good! In addition to the sandwiches, they often have vegan soups and salads. The prices are a bit high, but that is to be expected of anything in the area. There are also an assortment of chocolates that included a few vegan treats.
Pros: Environmentally conscious , Organic items, Friendly staff
Cons: Noisy, Often crowded at lunch

good vegan sandwiches - Edit
After being totally disappointed by other vegan loop options, my partner and I checked out Hannah's Bretzel and were pleasantly surprised. They have two vegan sandwich options, the roasted tofu sandwich and the vegetable bomb (side-note: the roasted tofu sandwich is listed as vegetarian because it comes on a non-vegan bread but you can get it on their vegan whole-grain instead). The staff was friendly and really nice about making us vegan sandwiches, which can sometimes not be the situation in typically non-veg eateries. The meal came with salt and pepper chips (other available sides were tamari roasted almonds, roasted soy nuts, and roasted vegetables) and totaled $8.49. The bread had good texture, the tofu was well-seasoned, and the veggies were great (fresh avocado, lettuce, tomato, and sprouts!). Also, their chocolate wall is drool-worthy and filled with vegan options. Would patron again and would recommend!
Pros: good food, healthy, friendly staff
Cons: a little expensive

Lunch Option in The Loop - Edit
I eat at Hannah's Bretzel for lunch, so I'm unsure if they're even open late or on weekends. What I liked about this place is that their menu says to ask about Vegan options. I also liked that they used compostable silverware, accessories, etc. It gets really packed during the lunch hour and seating is very limited. I think it's a good lunch option for those who work in the loop.
