One of the best restaurants in Santa Cruz! - Edit

Love the flavor, inventive Thai dishes I’ve never tried before. Restaurant is located inside a hip bookstore called Bad Animal. Fun to browse the bookstore while waiting to be seated or after the meal.

Best Home Cooked Thai Catering - Edit

Hands down the best Thai food that you are going to find in the area, if not the entire South Bay.

I worked with Lalita and her team on a catering event earlier this year and it was one of the best culinary decisions ever. Her team's Thai food is beyond delicious. Our catering event was simply having the food delivered in party trays but the small touches Lalita placed in the order really made it special. She created small food placards and menus with ingredients and common allergens listed, making it easy for guests to decide what they want to enjoy.

Best option: Vegetable Green Curry. My goodness, this curry was fantastic and completely blew all the curries I've had in the Bay Area out of the water. The flavors and consistency of the veggies was absolutely perfect and no other curry I have is going to compare to these.

I was able to also enjoy the Vegan Lemongrass Noodle Salad with Tofu and the Mushroom Laarb. As a party tray, the salad was a bit challenging to serve unless you had time to mix everything prior. The elements in the salad were great but I probably would stick to another item in the future. I also loved the laarb and all of the unique flavors complimented with each other well, and the variety of mushrooms was delicious.

Pros: Fresh, delicious Thai food
