This branch of Hank vegan fast food bar opened in Apr 2021. Features organic vegan burgers with sides of fries, small salads, cookies, soda, and beer. Every Sunday you can enjoy a full vegan brunch with scrumbled vegan eggs with mushrooms, guacamole, salad, potatoes, croissant, stewed apples/pears, yogurt, toasted bread and drinks. Delivery via the Eatic, Ubereats and Deliveroo. Reported closed April 2023.

Delicious fastfood and friendly staff - Edit
This is our go-to place to eat whenever we are in the city. It's located right in the city centre, so it's really easy to get here when you are already walking around in the centre.
Read moreThough the menu isn't very extensive it has loads of great options, personal favorites are the Bacon Burger and the Capitaine Hank. So far we've only tried the potato wedges as a side item, and they are very good!
One little downside is the place is rather small and fills up fast especially on weekends, so better be early if you want to make sure you have a seat.
Waiting times for the food can be quite long, but the good food and friendly staff make up for that.

Mais tous les Burgers sont délicieux, et les frites aussi. Bonus pour la mayo maison qui va parfaitement avec !! Aussi, le Hank de Lille est particulièrement cosy. Bref, une adresse à laquelle je viens et reviens !

Eating at Hank is always a great idea: everything is vegan, there is a large choice of burgers and the food is soooo good. The Captain Hank is quite incredible! But every burger is really tasty and the potatoes too. Bonus: the homemade mayo which goes perfectly with the fries! I also find the Hank-Lille super cosy. It’s a place where I really enjoy going.

They have a variety of burgers and you can make your menu with sides and dessert. They experiment a lot, which doesn't always work (my carrot cake was funky, the spices just weren't right) but I appreciate the intention. You can order either the veggie burger or the "steak", which is a mock meat burger. The potato wedges are really great, as is the homemade mayo.

I don't know if it was a bad day; but the two burgers we had (Captain Hank and La Vie Bacon Burger) were not satisfying enough.
Read moreI found the texture of the «fish» in the Captain Hank too dense, and it didn't go well together with the sauce for me.
As for the Bacon burger, I found it too dry. It's composed of a couple of «bacon» pieces and Beyond Meat, so it was pretty much just assembling things.
We also had the potato wedges...I'd prefer it if they would offer regular fries.
The staff was friendly and welcoming; so my only issue with this restaurant was its food.
I've tried Hank in Paris several times, so next time I'll stick to the burgers I know I like: the Allumé (BBQ sauce) and the Rockeuse (Fig sauce).

Flavors where good. The potato wedges where not the best but ok. I ordered for delivery. It was cold when it arrived and they forgot the sauce. It can happen. But always happy that there is a vegan fastfood restaurant in Lille

A bit disappointing - Edit
I’ve been to the Hanks in Paris a few times and enjoyed it. They were really nice at this branch and put up with my French which was great. I got the captains hank. It was fine, although I thought the bun a little stale. We also got the wedges which were ok but not as nice as others I’d had. The cookie was fine. I was really looking forward to it and it gets great reviews so maybe I just went on an off night.

The nuggets are incredible !
It's a bit more expansive if you want a "sort of real" patty. I generally don't take it and i'm still very satisfied with my meals when i go there.

I used to live in Lille five years ago and there was hardly any vegetarian options let alone vegan ones so I was so excited to try out Hank's! The staff were so helpful and friendly. I chose the Sergeant Pepper burger with Beyond vegan meat and it was delicious!! Not too expensive either and you get a lot of food! Highly recommended.

This place does a range of burgers that come with the same base (except for you can switch to beyond meat burger patty instead for extra, and there’s a fish fillet type burger too) but with different sauces/toppings. We got the Ronald which is a recreation of the Big Mac & a special one which had a beyond meat patty, bacon & hummus. We had fries (more like wedges), coleslaw (massive portion), carrot cake and beer and wine as part of some meal deals. Overall it was great but on the expensive side & the place really needs to update it opening times as google & their website says it’s open all through the day on Sunday but it wasn’t so we had to hang around for it to open.
