Delicious, fast, affordable - Edit
All vegan, and not very spicy since it follows a strict Buddhist diet (no onion, garlic, or chili), but very tasty. Definitely get something with the lemongrass tofu, and a side of spring rolls.

So cheap, lady is so sweet! Food is delicious - Edit
We had the Pho (coconut milk and lemongrass tofu) and noodle salad (spring rolls) and complimentary iced teas. The food was yum and really decent portion. And only $10 for each meal! An absolute steal! Highly recommend for a quick, easy feed. The lady of the shop is an absolute delight and sent us home with more food. Will definitely be coming back.

You can taste the love she puts in her food. 🥰
10 $ for a Pho? Unbeatable.
Unfortunately she refused to take a tip (quote „we don’t take tips only take happiness“, so hopefully this will help her business.😄

I went here a year ago (from the Gold Coast) and loved the food, so was excited to go back today during a short trip to Sydney.

It's worth checking if they're open if you're planning to visit, especially if you're travelling some distance to get there.

Value for money and huge portions - Edit
Good tasting food and for $10 a main meal and huge portion sizes, it is amazing value for money and great for a quick lunch stop. The lady running the place was very friendly. Inside doesn’t have the greatest ambiance so best for a quick stop or takeaway.

Decent portions that are comparatively quite cheap, the tofu was so delicious! I had the lemongrass tofu noodle salad, I was in a bit of a hurry so I really appreciated that the meal came out quite fast

So glad we made it to this place! - Edit
My husband said he wasn’t hungry, but I didn’t believe him so I got what I thought was enough for 2 people. It turned out that he was telling the truth, so I wound up eating enough for 3 people almost by myself because the portions are HUGE. Everything was so delicious and I really loved the people 💙 I had the yellow curry, lemongrass pho, and spring rolls (he at least had some spring rolls). The meals came with a small salad and a bowl of soup, also very tasty. THEN the lovely woman working there brought out a container of salad, rice, and tofu to go.

Lovely staff and quick service but food was pretty underwhelming unfortunately! Good if you’re looking for an inexpensive place to grab lunch if you’re out and about near Central.

Kindness, generosity, and delicious, great value food - Edit
Hạnh Phúc is a delighful little place not far from Central Station. The owner, a lady named Hạnh (not sure about the spelling), was especially warm, welcoming and lovely, insisting on giving us (on the house) one entrée and, as we were leaving, two salads to take home. Almost as soon as we arrived we were served a large cup of hot corn soup each (for free). The food we ordered was served with minimal wait - the mains portions were huge, and everything was delicious. Strongly recommended!

Very light and satisfying - Edit
I had the spring rolls and Laksa. The spring rolls were very tasty. I enjoyed the Laksa very much but if you're used to Thai style, this is not it. It's not very spicy, the flavours are subtle, and the soup is relatively watery compared to a thick coconut milk base or similar. Very reasonably priced with two entrees and two good sized nutritious mains coming in at only $30.

Amazing authentic Vietnamese food - Edit
This is definitely one of my favourite vegan restaurants in Sydney now. I came in at lunch time and got a lemongrass pho (only $10) and it was one of the nicest soups I've had outside of Vietnam. The service was lovely and staff were very kind. I think with how close Hanh Phuc is to Central Station/Surry Hills, that it is the place to go if you're looking for a tasty, filling and reasonably priced meal in the area.

Happiness in food - Edit
This cute little Vietnamese restaurant is perfect. The service and food are 5/5 and although the menu may seem small, there are many variations that you can make.
Read morePlus, the price! You won't find vegan food this cheap in Sydney. My partner and I both had a main each (the bowls are big), a drink each and the owner came and gave us more food, essentially equating to an entree each. All up this cost us $26 between us... we wanted to tip because we essentially had a 2 course meal and a drink for $13 each but the owner said that they don't take tips as it goes against their beliefs in providing and not taking. She then said the name of the restaurant was Happiness and that was what she hoped the food brought.
We will be back.
Pros: Delicious food, The price is amazing , The service is wonderful

The name means Happiness. It's true! - Edit
This was the warmest most friendly and personal experience I have ever had in a restaurant and that was my first time through the door. I walked out a happier person feeling love for the world.
Read moreAnd the food! So clean, fresh and satisfying. And great serves. I wanted to pay more as it was too cheap and the lovely lady wouldn't hear of it unless she could give me extra. Lucky I had a lunch box with me as I went home with a superb dinner as well.
The spring rolls were the best mini spring rolls I've ever had. The laksa pho was lighter on the coconut milk than usual so I felt really healthy after eating it. Serves were huge, salad was fresh and tasty. This is heaven right near Sydney central station. Please note it is just around the corner up a side street, not actually facing the main road. Go!
Pros: So friendly, Healthy, Too cheap
