Amazing veggie dining

What a great dining experience. 90 minutes of delightful food, appetisers, hot, cold and grilled dishes, pickles and soups, all beautifully prepared. Lovely textures and flavours, soft tofu, miso aubergine, nectarine and wasabi sherbert, chestnut rice, pumpkin soup. Great service and very veggie friendly. Just let them know when you book as it’s a set menu.

Pros: Welcoming and friendly , Fine dining experience , Creative cooking

Thankful for locating this ryokan restaurant

Food quality was excellent, presentation was superb. One star minus for diary use and not informing customer. Their tofu dish was milk based. They served the dessert with whipped cream. Otherwise, very authentic Japanese experience. We went with two little kids so we did appreciate the availability of French fries with ketchup for little particular eaters.

Pros: Lots of veggies , Vegan options , Authentic Japanese

Cons: Diary use without informing customer

Amazing vegan options on request

A beautiful onsen resort nestled amongst the trees in Izu-Kogen coast. The staff are extremely helpful and kind and I informed them of my requirements at the time of booking. The Japanese cuisine they prepared was delicious, and they also can do western style breakfasts etc upon request. Would recommend entirely!

Pros: Great vegan course upon request (at booking), High quality local ingredients

Cons: Might be on the pricier side but well worth it
