Decent if no other option

They serve meat, including lamb, which doesn't make me happy. However, my colleagues chose the place for a work event, so I was obliged to go. So I feel like it's helpful to have these listings on Happy Cow despite the fact that Happy Cow understandably don't want to promote restaurants that serve meat - I don't either! But I like to see what options I have when I'm stuck going somewhere like this.

We had the express lunch menu which is £15.95pp for a dip (served with pitta) and two small dishes. I got the houmous which was delicious - the melitzanosalata is also a vegan option. The two dishes I got were the only two vegan dishes available - dolmades (but specify vegan as otherwise they'll arrive on a bed of Greek yoghurt) and fasolia karavisia (a butterbean type stew). The dolmades weren't the best I've had, they were sort of dry, warm and tough as if they'd been microwaved. The fasolia karavisia was lovely though, really flavoursome and comforting.

They have a burger that can be made vegan too. As with the dolmades, being "made vegan" means removing items (in the burger's case, removing the halloumi), rather than creating an imaginative dish that stands on its own, which is a shame.

If you want Greek food, I'd instead recommend Yiamas (reopening soon as Yianni's). They have vegan feta, make their own seitan, have vegan baklava, and it's cheaper. They have all the dips and wholesome dishes too!

Pros: Houmous was tasty, Nice interior

Cons: Slow service, Serves meat, Not many options
