cute restaurant

Cute restaurant in old town (Altstadt) on wide alley with houses on one side and walls on the other. Owner/chef comes out to serve food, greet you and make sure everything is ok. I particularly liked the pakora dish - it included balls made of potatoes and maybe broccoli, very tasty.

Pros: vegetarian options

Cons: small menu

Inexpensive and novel

Ever tried Bangladeshi cuisine? Here's your chance and at a relatively low price. In summer there's a sort of porch on the very quiet street across, which is quite an original way to dine. The selection isn't huge but if you're not too long in the area that shouldn't matter.
