Mucha variedad de platos en comparación con las cartas de muchos venganos que se han quedado en fritos. Tomé una foccacia de no-salmón muy rica, algo simple puede parecer, pero es que estaba muy rico. Y el personal muy amable.

Delicious vegan adaptations of Spanish "classics" - Edit
LOOOOTS of options and very different & more elaborated than the usual vegan bars. The main dishes we tried were very flavourful (Morcilla was good and Rice with Butifarra was crazy good) and the dessert was also superb (Apple tart w ice-cream).

I was a bit bummed that I will miss out on the traditional Spanish flavours since I went plant-based, but this place made sure I didn't😉lots of substitutes and the tastes and aromas are pure joy for the senses.

The service was a bit slow, but I appreciate that Spaniards do not like rushing😉

El mejor vegano de Madrid - Edit
Lugar increíble con muchas opciones. Pedimos Fish and chips y el fish estaba buenísimo y super logrado. Un cachopo también enorme y con muchísimo sabor, aunque en ambos casos las patatas, que estaban muy bien fritas, estaban sosillas. Y por último, unos raviolis de beyond con salsa de trufa y foie.
Read moreEs bastante gourmet y el precio lo demuestra, no es un lugar al que venir cada día (aprox. 25€ por persona) pero me parece el mejor vegano en el que he estado por sabor, donde todo cuadra y no necesitan un kilo de especias para ocultarlo.

The food was very great! We had the Beyond Meat ravioli in truffled foie gras sauce. It was delicious! We also had the Salmon toast. It was also super tasty and tasted like real salmon! I would recommend both dishes they were amazing. Maybe make a reservation or go early on the weekends! They could squeeze us in for only 1 hour since we arrived at 8:30 and all the tables seemed reserved for 9:30 or 10.

We found the starters amazing. We tried the chopitos and the salmon. The latter was incredible, its taste was like true smoked salmon.
Read moreOn the other hand, the cachopo didn't fulfilled our expectations; I think it was made with "violife" stuff so the flavour wasn't really good. I guess it would have been better using seitán and a homemade vegan cheese.
The VERY BAD point is that they refuse to serve a glass of water unless you order another drink, which is TOTALLY ILEGAL.

Gran variedad de platos, siendo la mayoría de ellos imitaciones veganas de comida no-vegana típica que gusta a todo el mundo: huevos con jamón, tosta de salmón, tiramisú… El sabor es exquisito y, además, el personal es amable y sirven muy rápido. El precio es algo elevado, pero honestamente, creo que lo merece. Si tuviera que señalar un punto negativo, diría que el aire acondicionado estaba algo suave, y que debido a ello hacía algo de calor.

Restaurante bonito con buena comida vegana y una carta muy extensa e interesante, veganizando clásicos de la comida española. La comida está muy buena, pero no puedo darle más de 3 estrellas porque se niegan a servir agua del grifo sin consumir una bebida previamente (cobrando 3,5€ por 1L de agua), que a pesar de ser ilegal siguen sin cambiarlo.

El local es muy acogedor y el personal atento y amable. La tabla de quesos realmente merece la pena ya que saben igual a los no veganos. Los platos principales muy ricos y buenas porciones. La única pega fue el postre, que estaba bastante ahogado y la galleta/bizcocho se deshacía… Volveré sin dudas.

El local está agradablemente bien decorado. También tiene terraza amplia en el exterior. Pedimos el kentaky no chicken que estaba bueno y venía acompañado de tres salsas bastante sabrosas, los raviolis con salsa de foie que estaban espectaculares (realmente tenían un toque de foie) y el cachopo, supuestamente el rey de la casa. Debo decir que visualmente el cachopo es espectacular. Es tal cual. La textura al paladar también es excelente. En cuanto al sabor muy bueno, pero tengo que ponerle una pega, a mi gusto obviamente. Aunque viene relleno de "jamón" y "queso" (este último, por cierto, no estilo azul que le habría dado más potencia a mi parecer) también lo han rellenado de cebolla caramelizada que adquiere demasiado protagonismo (de hecho, el cachopo sabe algo dulzón). En cualquier caso es una maravilla poder disfrutar de platos así 100% vegetales.

De vuelta al Hakuna con unos amigos probamos para compartir las berenjenas con humus que eran abundantes y estaban bastante buenas y, como principal, me decanté por el NoCordero. ¡Qué espectáculo! Para mi gusto mucho mejor que el cachopo aunque, evidentemente, son platos muy distintos. Viene con patatas y manzana asadas y son dos piezas de "carne" bastante gruesas con una textura asombrosa (incluso han recreado la piel, una auténtica pasada). Acompaña al plato una salsa, que te ponen en el momento, que está muy sabrosa. Merece la pena probarlo.

Es una pena como por sacar unos euros más incumplen la legalidad y dejan clientes descontentos. Su política de no darte agua del grifo si no has consumido una bebida de pago antes, aparte de ser ilegal, no me parece de buen anfitrión. No creo que vuelva.
