Hairy Lentil is a vegetarian cafe located in small country town Waroona, approximately 20kms away from the Forrest Highway. The cafe itself is easy to find with its colourful outside inviting guests in. The cafe is beautifully decorated and sells a range of products including Mandala Chai latte powder (vegan) as well as candles, cards and more!

I went for lunch and had a gluten free vegan potato, eggplant, sundried tomato, pumpkin seed and sunflower seed patty with a mix of their 3 salads, which was a brown rice and quinoa salad with nuts, mixed veg and Asian dressing, the other was mixed greens, olives, tomato and cucumber and the last salad was a couscous salad with dates, sundried tomatoes and lots of other goodies!

After that my mum and I shared a musk brownie (raw vegan) and a "St Nic's ball"(also raw vegan) which were both delicious!

They currently don't have a menu but just make new dishes daily for in the cabinet, but will soon be expanding to include a juice and smoothie bar and a dine-in menu.

I definitely recommend coming to Hairy Lentil if you're in the area!
