Seitan steak roast - Edit
Very laid back place - mismatched furniture, pool table, cute little outdoor area, that kind of thing.
Read moreThe Seitan steak and mushroom & stout gravy were really nice. But accompanying veg let it down a bit; some rather hard small baked potatoes, roast parsnips that were difficult to cut in places, but the rest was fine. Probably didn't help that we went late in the day.
Pros: all vegan

Lovely Sunday roast and beer! - Edit
Delicious Sunday roast at Hail Seitan. I had Seitan steak with stout n shroom gravy, partner had the home made Nut roast. Food was really tasty. Bartleby's beer is brewed there and both of the beers on tap we enjoyed so much we had a takeaway. Enjoyed a really chilled afternoon with lovely friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone.

Eclectic Veggie Haven + Brewery - Edit
Ryan and the team at Coachwerks are excellent. So friendly and welcoming, feels like you’re coming home. And the food is to die for! Supremely creative, we’ve been there a number of times and we’re always impressed. And did I mention there’s a vegan brewery on-site?!? Wish there were more vegan havens like this around :-)

Lively surprise - Edit
Sunday lunch with my Daughter and wife. I'm not vegetarian but have no issue with well designed well prepared and cooked or raw food. Our Sunday lunch was all of the above. The nut roast was so delicious I could have easily managed another portion. quiche was fab too. As a gluten free low carb eater I often find Vegan food uses too many carbs. This was perfect. Quirky cool building very friendly staff. Loved it will make it a regular stop. For them I hope it gets lots of business. For us I hope it stays a secret.

Great food! - Edit
Hail Seitan is a quirky little vegan restaurant in the Coachwerks. Fantastic food, we went for Sunday lunch and had a homemade soy nut roast with roasties, carrots and a gorgeous gravy. With an on site micro brewery and wholefoods shop, this is an amazing venue and I'd urge you to support this small local venture. The food is made with love and the atmosphere is really chilled.
