Terrific, flexible, and unique! - Edit
The first inquiry by our waiter was for food allergies or whether we were vegetarian. The menu has designations for vegetarian options, and sauce bar categorizes each offering according to various allergies, including wheat. The vegetables were very fresh, and the portions were great, even for a starving young guy!

Vegan-Friendly Luxury Hotpot Experience - Edit
This popular Sichuan hotpot chain has a location near Chinatown that comes with a high price tag, but makes for a worthwhile experience. There are a few vegan soup bases on the menu, with lots of options for tofu/soy and vegetable add-ins. The customer service is amazing- everything from the downstairs waiting area to the elevator to the friendly staff to the robot waiters to the traditional dance performance down the aisles make you feel transported to a different luxurious world. Our waitress was very helpful in making sense of the menu, especially for vegans who were new to hotpot.
