Porridge goals - Edit
Best porridge I've had outside of my own kitchen, great variety of options and the selection is great. I didn't get to visit the cafe, but visited the pop-up store in the train station twice during my stay.
Pros: Variety of toppings
Cons: Wanted more

Feed The Birds - Edit
It speaks volumes about Haferkater that we eschewed the full buffet breakfast at our hotel in order to cycle out to Boxhagener Straße for a bowl of porridge. Not just any old porridge mind you, the bowls served up at “Oats Hangover” are the most delicious organic breakfasts for cyclists requiring an orgasmic dose of slow release energy for the day’s pedalling action. Only in Berlin could some cool dudes dream up a business model based around oats! And yet, there’s generally a queue for the luscious breakfasts that scoff at Fergus Henderson’s quote that “Porridge and the urban lifestyle don't mix well.” Quite how they cope in the cold winter is a mystery as there is precious little space in what is nothing more than a shack. However, on a warm sunny day there is outdoor seating where we could share our porridge with the sparrows who were loving the generous portions we shared with them. I have uploaded a photograph of the menu which show a few vegan options and I have posted a photograph of the Holy Granola Kater which was sensational. Beware … a visit to Haferkater could lead to a porridge addiction. Well, the way the friendly staff serve it here. Highly recommended.
Pros: Good Value, Friendly Bi-Lingual Service, Organic and Some Homemade Add-Ons

GO HERE ALL OF THE TIME - Edit
After months of intending to try this place out but always cooking my own oats at home, I finally went.
This place is just awesome - nice vibe, friendly and bi-lingual service, a cute seating area, and amazing oats. There are a number of options, half of which are vegan (they also do hot drinks and salads too). I got the nuts and granola option, it was delicious. Super cheap and tasty, with the option to get a small (tiny) bowl of ours not so hungry. I will definitely come back here. They also have loyalty cards.
Pros: cheap, delicious, friendly service and nice vibe
Cons: absolutely none

lecker Haferbrei - Edit
Haferbrei? Außerdem gibt es Haferkekse and andere specials. Kaffee haben die Jungs von Haferkater auch mit pflanzlicher Milch. Den Kaffee kann man im Außenbereich schlürfen. Übrigens gibt es auch Haferbrei to go!
